That "redistribution rights" thing is only applicable in pre-set trades, and on things like the GTS and most casual trades, most people don't care. Also, even if you do get redistribution rights, you can't enforce them. It's just a "just check with me before you trade if you don't mind," but there's no guarantee that they'll check.

Thank you for clarifying further. But what is exactly a "pre-set" trade?

I started wondering about this issue the other day, when I was browsing the Smogon boards (where I am not a member) and someone made a report on someone who'd traded Pokemon that the original trader had said could not be traded to anyone else. That person, I believe, did not get infracted or whatever the case is over there, but only because they turned out to apparently not have traded the Pokemon in question. If they had, they would have been in trouble with the board moderators. So clearly this is taken very seriously, at least over there.

Anyway, my question is answered --I just won't get into trades with these kinds of restrictions. I still think it's kind of silly, but to each his/her own! :-D

it's not a "rule" that's in place here & the mods won't enforce it at all - it is courteous to respect other's wishes though so if someone pulls a "non-redis" card on me i just wouldn't trade with them (not that i'm gonna trade their pokemon anyway just out of principle)

smogon takes "NR" stuff VERY seriously :-/

Oh, of course if I DID trade in this sort of situation I'd respect the other person's wishes, but I can't see myself trading with such constraints in the first place. :-D

If you use Safeguard, are you cured of your status of just protected against status for 5 turns? Let's say my Grumpig gets burned, then I use Safeguard, am I going to get cured of the burn?

No, It does not cure any status it just protects you from them.
 
So does anyone know if there is any prerequisites to make the IV checker in the battle subway appear? I can use him in my game but he is nowhere to be found in my gfs copy.

Okay! I just encountered a wild Feebas in Route 119 for the first time! But, oh no! The only Ball I have i the Master Ball (which I'm not using it on for sure!)! Now, I know that Feebas appears in 6 random spots each day, but I need to ask you something VERY important, if I run away from the battle, go to Fortree, get some Poke Balls and head back, will it still be there in the same spot or will I have to start searching all over again?

It changes if you say a new trendy phrase so if you go back there and dont change it then it will be on the same tile.
 
I'm using Vs. Seeker in Platinum. When will the trainers Pokémon gain levels? For example, I've read that the max level is 59-61 on these trainers Pokémon I'm battling, but they're only level 44.

They will until they hit that maximum level.
