I agree, I'm still waiting on them to leak some Mega Evolutions, and I have barely seen any other than Mega Aerodactyl, Gengar, Abomasnow, and Gardevoir, and I won't finish with this thread until I see a few more Megas, but since we haven't gotten any new ones, it's all this thread is going to be about until then sadly...
 
I wouldn't go so far as to say it's all a total hoax, but I really think there is something fishy going on. Stores do not get copies that early, especially Mom-and-Pop Stores. It doesn't happen.

Btw is the Arcanite thing real? Or is the whole Mega Arcanine thing just a hoax?
 
I don't think any of the leakers said anything about the Habitat List, so it may not be in the game.

Edit: Mega Arcanine is as real as Mega Galvantula atm. It's just people posting things with no evidence.

I think we'll be slow to see the other mega evolutions. Aren't they hard to find in Kalos? It could take the leakers a while.
 
Most likely stats for Sylveon:

HP = 130
Attack = 65
Defense = 65
Sp. Attack = 95
Sp. Defense = 110
Speed = 60

Even though I'm 99% sure this is fake, I would love if this turned out to be true, not because I don't like the new 'mons, but because now I feel guilty and more spoiled than I ever wanted to be D: (I know it's my fault, but it would make the actual games a lot more exciting in a way)
 
We have plenty of evidence already. Of course if you're going to be a conspiracy theorist none of that matters, but nobody has to listen to you if you're just spouting nonsense.

There's no way Sylveon has 130 base HP. Looking at Level 21 Vaporeon (who has 130 base HP) with 0 IVS and a neutral nature, its minimum HP is at 85. That's much higher than Sylveon's 77 HP at Level 21. Sylveon's highest stat is Special Defense at 130.
 
I wish that was true, but it's definitely fake. There's no way GF made a bunch of fake copies to be sent out for release. Especially considering reviewers.

Also, I finally saw Mega Gardevoir, and she looks goofy as hell :v

Now that they have models for the first 718ish Pokemon, hopefully the development cycle for G7 will be 2-3 years instead of 3-4.

Maybe Feebas has been revamped AGAIN to use Amie?
 
Also, the Street Date was only broken in Canada and possibly one place in Italy? Hmm. Silly Canadians, breaking rules and stuff.

no, no! i'm so conflicted about how i want to feel about the "whole leaks a possible hoax" thing. no, no, i think it's ridiculous and highly unlikely. but at the same time, i'd love for there to be several more pokemon and the only way that seems possible right now is if this were true.

but at the VERY, VERY same time i would cry my eyes out if pumpkaboo and gourgeist ended up being fake. especially pumpkaboo. i love those two SO much. i want them to be real with my everything!

so i'm very conflicted--not with what i believe is true, really, but with what i want to be true. :( so sad. i love pumpkaboo. but i really do wish there were closer to 100 new pokemon. i still am excited for the game and i don't think much less of it, i just feel so much less hype now that it's pretty much certain that there are only 69-70 new pokemon total. part of the most exciting part of new pokegames for me was seeing how many new awesome/adorable new pokes were made.

x/y will be best for people who haven't been keeping up with the games and people who haven't spoiled themselves, unfortunately. if there were this few pokemon i really wish i would've stayed away. butijustcan'tahwassoexcited.

and i don't think there's anything wrong with people being disappointed with how few pokemon there are this gen, as long as they're not throwing a tyrantrum! so being rude and blowing YOUR top off while complaining about people expressing their opinions is just silly! (yes, there was a specific post in mind to this little snip).

there's nothing wrong with being disappointed a little bit because up until now we've ALWAYS got 100-135ish new pokemon, no less, and yes that is including pre-evos and new evos to old pokemon because they're still permanent evolutions outside of battle and were new. i don't really count megavolutions because of this. i don't like that there were so many because no doubt they took up resources that could've been used for permanent pokemon. i'd much rather have more cuties to keep and coddle outside of battle than ubers that i will hardly ever even need because i'm not a competitive battler. i just like collecting pokemon. i like getting attached to them. you can't get attached to megas because after the battle, that's it, they're done until next time! that's my reasoning.

that's not to say i don't think megas aren't cool, because they are, but there are just so many! why pick some pokemon over others? it's just weird. and arcanine is one of my favorite pokemon, so considering megas aren't going away it'd be neat to see what they /could/ do to it! so i guess here's hoping there is a mega arcanine.

all that being said, i can understand other reasons why we'd get less pokemon this generation and i think everyone else disappointed can understand it, too, if they can get past their sadfaces. they're adding a lot more to the games than pokemon: the amie features, new ways to EV train; trainer customization; idk what else...but all this, who knows how many resources they take up too.

it's okay to be disappointed because we're not used to it. it's actually quite a jump from getting more than 100 pokemon to only 69ish. we just gotta not let that completely ruin the game experience for us--even for me, the person who doesn't care for battling at all and would much rather collect all the potentially thousands of cutiepatooties in the pokeworld! :)

That's what I mean. You'd think that if they were trying to start up something they'd also mention kosthedin by name considering he was one of the first leakers, and one of if not the first to be shot down.

Oops, just realized I had a "+" that should have been a "-" in the formula I used xD

This should be the actual stat distribution:

HP = 95
Attack = 65
Defense = 65
Sp. Attack = 110
Sp. Defense = 130
