General consensus seems to be that you have to be holding your 3DS upside-down either when it levels up or at the end of a battle in which it had leveled up. To be safe, get into a battle, and then right before it levels up, flip your 3DS upside-down and then keep it that way until after the battle ends.

I heard you can use SuperTraining to reset EVs. Is this true, and if so how do you do it? I'm getting sick of giving my FireRed Pokemon EV haircuts in BW2.

You have to have your Pokemon find a Reset Bag, which will let you reset its EV's.

I found one on Route 12, but I am playing Y. Not sure if it really matters though.

When you say you went into all the other shops, do you mean all the boutiques in all the towns, or just all of the other shops in Lumiose?

I think he meant just the boutique store in Lumiose City, which wouldn't let you in until you are "stylish enough". The hats over at Sandalune City were in the P1,000-3,000 range

Does anyone know where the Smile Ribbon goes after you receive it? After I got it, I couldn't find it in my bag anywhere. I'm worried it's a glitch.

Those types of ribbons aren't items that go into your bag; instead, they're placed on the first Pokémon in your party when you talk to that NPC. It should be on second page of your Pokémon's summary (the page that lists nature, time & place met, etc.)--check to see if it's there!
 
Pokemon X and Y home button freezing glitch?

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when u press the home button the game freezes for a minute or two/ Plz reply

Your 3DS might just be a little beat up. How long does it freeze exactly?
 
What do the messages before you send your Pokemon out mean? Like "X seems a little out of it...", "X is feeling a bit uneasy", or "X is remembering the first time it met Y"

Are they just flavor text, or do they actually affect the battle?

I think it's just flavor text. I've had it happen where it says "Greninja knows its trainer will come up with a good strategy!" Etc.



Does anyone know what level the champion's Pokemon are? I'm thinking about rotating my team, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.

According to Serebii, the levels range from 64 to 68.

What are the best levels to evolve Doublade and Floette? I don't want to evolve them too early or late.

According to Bulbapedia, you can't get your Wormadam to change cloaks. Only Burmy changes cloaks, and once it evolves the cloak it has becomes permanent.
