(Sorry this is really late)
The scientist sat impatiently at his computer, tapping his fingers on the desk rhythmically and yawned. He hated being in these situations, sitting at a computer forever just to get a simple thing done.
It had been 3 days and the process that was taking place on the scratched monitor still was not done. Tired, the old scientist shock his head to keep himself awake. He gazed around the room he was in. It was a bunker with only one door that lead to a lift. This lift lead into the city above them, but it had been so long since the old man had used the lift that he had forgotten where the lift lead to and whether or not it actually still worked. Other then the lift, in the room there was a toilet, a computer and a gas stove and pan.
And, of course, there were the capsules.
Hanging from the ceiling like metallic hammocks were the capsules, built by the scientist himself. There was about 50 in total, but only a few were in use. Weakly, the scientist got out of his chair to inspect them. He ran his finger along one, clearing it of a thin layer of dust that traced his finger.
Suddenly, it began to glow incredibly brightly, and the scientist realised that the process was done. His face lit up has he leaned over to inspect the monitor. Then there was a groaning creak as the active pods began to open and the figures inside sat up.
