English needs two words for family.

-One for your relatives that you share the house with (siblings, parents, children)
-One for all your relatives.

Both meanings have a separate word in Dutch, which is quite convenient

Cohabitants and relatives?

I will now start a wonder trade chain and post the results here. Entertainment is to be expected

Edit: So, I have started with trading a 3iv Piplup with 3egg moves. Got a Luvdisc from some Japanese dude. Said Luvdisc is lv15 and has no stats whatsoever

Same in Greek. Although the the term for extended family is informal, and the term for family can also refer to your extended family in formal situations.

Luvdisc gave me a Japanese Furfrou. Said Furfrou is lv 9 and nicknamed "TOTO"

Both Dutch words are equally (in)formal.

Extended family: familie
Cohabitant family: gezin

And TOTO goes to Germany in exchange for a Litwick. A Japanese Litwick in a Luxury ball, with modest nature and Flame Body. Perfect SpDef iv

Although come to think of it, the equivalent term for family in Greek (depending on the context) can refer to your close relatives (siblings, parents, children) regardless of their residence.

Litwick gave me a japanese Pidgey. Now we're talking some trve Wonder Trade experience!

The game has failed to find a trading partner for me when I tried to WT the Pidgey

Same in Dutch, but it was easier to say it as I did

Pidgey goes to Germany for a Totodile named Karnimani (guessing that it's a German name for Totodile). Has Crunch and perfect SpDef

Totodile goes to Japan in exchange for a Fletchling. A lv1 Fletchling with Big Pecks, Adamant nature, roost and a x/31/31/31/31/x iv spread

Oh, @Alexey; please don't double post. If nobody else has posted yet, either wait or edit your previous post. ^^

I'm on tablet, so it's an incredible pain in the ass to edit more than several words into a post. Still, I will abide by the rules

Also, while I was WTing the Fletchling, communication was interrupted :D

Still, the trade got through, and now I have a Japanese Ralts with perfect spdef

Ralts got me a Japanese Goomy with Sap Sipper
