Darkrai will be distributed for free at U.S. Toys 'R' Us stores on noon to 4 p.m. May 31 and June 1.

Again, why do all the event Pokemon come programmed with in-game sidequests that are never used?
 
Probably because prior to this, Nintendo may have planned to do something with them, as they used to, but then decided just to beam them straight to the game.

I'm grabbing this one on the 31st, I get out of school earlier that week and then I'm going to the nearest Toys-R-Us thich is like an hour and a half away
 
Aww, I'd love to have one. Too bad for me, and most of the players in Canada. Maybe I could convince my parents to drive down to New York? They probably won't listen.

Stupid question time... what's the minimum point in the game you have to be at to be able to get Darkrai? I've barely played my Pearl version and I'm wondering how far along I have to get before this so I can get Darkrai on both my versions.
 
probably u need a pokedex like with the manaphy event

im not to happy about this since darkrai is my favourite pokemon but i live in the U.K. that sucks...
