Additionally, I could create a total of three of these items. I have created two, one which was intended to go to Sunsette, and the other was random. I don't think Piko got the chance to do this no, because I had the opportunity to make three, which was the full amount. I have one item left that I can make.
 
Well if someone got something, now would be the time to claim it. I didn't get anything.

If no one claims something, either a) Elementar's lying or b) a mafia member has it and is trying to get us to lynch Elementar.

@Elementar, you can still provide reasoning without item claiming. Why did you want to give it to Sunsette?
 
@Elieson @returnofMCH I'm assuming we can claim we got or have an item, but not what it is specifically? Because if not, well, a couple of us broke that rule already...:(
 
I wanted to see what Sunsette did with the item, and depending on what they did, I could make a better assumption of their status in the game.
 
Have a quiz tomorrow and had to deal with an event that unexpectedly consumed a good amount of my time today.

Though, I am surprised about Sunsette's role and I will miss their post restriction for it was glorious.

Also, I will say that I was afraid for FA because I thought the mafia might go after them last night phase especially after the Midorikawa hammer.

Unless some things that Sunsette could have said might have not sat well with the mafia like suspecting Hellcrow, maybe.

Plus, Sunsette is a strong town read besides FA.

I found that inventor claim to be onyxpected. Out of Sunsette, jd, Hellcrow, Elementar and myself, I was expecting Announcer, Courier, two investigatives (either copp and an unknown, but I suppose Elementar's calim is plausible, in which case I'd guess there's an unclaimed second inventor role, which would mean jd, Hellcrow and I would be courier, inventor and announcer in no particoalar order. If that's right, I feel like I might have a guess which one of us each of those roles belong to.

I think it's relevant to slate here that I haven't had an item at any point in this game, and I wonder who all started with an item and who was given one later.
Also, did anyone get any courier messages on nights 2 or 3?

Also noting that since I stated why I found Hellcrow scummy (and I'm not the only one who does), he's made exactly one post:

That post feels weird to me, very disinterested and noncommital.
 
No, talc-nickelly not confirmed, just my thoughts based on what roles we know exist (restless spirit, two announcers, a courier, and a watcher that apparently functions like a tracker), what's been claimed (two millerites, another tracker, another restless spirit, and an inventor), and while I guess the message Sunsette got on night 1 could have been from an item, it seems likelier to have been evidence of another courier to me.

All that would give us:
2x Millerite
2x Tracker (yes, technically a tracker and a watcher that works as a tracker)
2x Announcer
2x Restless Spirit
1x Inventor
and one unknown

Basalt (or based) on the rest of the apparent setup, that unknown seems likely to be an inventor.

@Crystal Onix, I assume you are the second Announcer? Because I can't see Hellcrow being it with all his inactivity. Though I guess it's possible.

Doesn't clear you from being mafia though if so.
 
Honestly, I don't disbelieve that Elementar is an inventor; I think that probably is the truth. However, the ability itself doesn't mean that he's town. We've seen a mafia watcher/tracker, and that was something that generally is a town role. The issue is: does it make sense for him to have given Sunsette an item, or is it a cover for nightkilling Sunsette?

Without it being allowed to say what item he was going to give, it's tough because we can only speculate on what it potentially was. but are there any items that could have helped him figure out Sunsette's alignment? I don't know if any item would really give a result that he would be able to see other than if he gave Sunsette a vig-kill item, if one exists. But even then, there's no guarantee even town would shoot correctly, so that wouldn't be certain. Anything else wouldn't be a result that'd be readily seen by the rest of us unless Sunsette came in-thread to talk about the item.

Also, I also have not received an item. I started the game with one (a real one, not my "I'm pretending not to have a tracker item so I won't get NK'd for my ability lol") but I traded it away N1 to Leggo, so it wasn't from an inventor.

But anyway, it's just hard for me to ignore how seemingly coincidental it would be that Sunsette died last phase and Elementar had visited them. It reeks of scum to me and I don't get giving an item to Sunsette - who he suspected - over one who you would be more able to trust to use it in town's interests, because otherwise you risk an item falling into scum hands and being used against town. Admittedly, I'm an incredibly stubborn person and maybe that plays a part, but I feel like Elementar is scum.

Crystal Onix, I agree about there being all duplicate roles most likely. I think that fits the "Multiverse" name of the game well too, and everything we've seen has indicated there are two of each. I almost wonder if it'd be worth having the 2nd inventor claim just to be sure Elementar isn't making up the claim (since really, we can't confirm Sunsette's item and if the other was "random," that's hard to find out too).

Ohhhh, okay, nevermind that last part of my post up there then. If all these duplicates were truly random, then the RNG really a field day when assigning roles lol.

Just remembered something else though not related to duplicates. Pikochu's subbing out happened right after he was being questioned a fair bit. I mean, I don't want to act like that's some telltale sign of scum not wanting to deal with suspicion because it's not, but it has happened before in games on here and it does make me wonder even more about the Pikochu/Elementar slot. Again, not saying that's some hard proof or anything, but figured it was worth mentioning at least.

I said that I tried to give it to Sunsette.

Anyway, the item wasn't dangerous enough to be a threat to town. I can say that much, so it was useful for a suspicious person to use it and so we could find out the alignment.

Yes, jdthebud, I am indeed the announcer. I also figured you wouldn't be the courier because the message Sunsette got sounds more like something Hellcrow might've sent than you.

UNLESS either you or Elementar are lying about your role. Elementar having a visiting role would make a nice cover for him visiting Sunsette on the same night she got killed.

I agree, with FA, though. Elementar giving an item to someone he doesn't trust does seem suspicious, as does his reason. I can't figure what item might've proved she was town by her having.
We're going to have to start voting, though, and in light of this info concerning Elementar, I'll open.

There was no one I thought to give it to. And if I can give it to a random person, it's obviously not that dangerous.
