Character customization

You know what I'd like? More Pokemon hats. Guys--not the girls, mind you--could wear a Pangoro hat in X and Y. I really wanted one but since it was gender-locked, I couldn't get it. I'd like to see that return, with more options and for it to be available to all players regardless of gender. Because if I could walk around Alola rocking a Golurk hat, I would do it. And I would NEVER take that hat off EVER.

If GF wants to force me to wear a hat 24/7, fine. Just give me one that I'll like and we'll be fine.
 
Personally hoping we'll get all of Pikachu's hats from SSB4 (which means the ESAM headband, swimming goggles, and a party hat!). Doubtful, but I can dream.
 
Customization being back is great for all those wanting its return~ The only thing I really need is hair options~ I prefer longer hair on female characters so I'll be really upset if we have to keep the default~ I'm sure there are a lot of cute Hawaiian styles they could include.

We especially need more hair options for the guys. As one who likes to grow his hair out in a ponytail, I'd love a ponytail hairstyle.

And for that matter, I hope they add unnatural hair colors. It was a little disappointing in X and Y to have only natural hair colors while all these other NPCs were walking around with all these unnatural colors around. T.T

Yeah, guy hair options would be nice seeing as the new male PC is pretty much rocking the same hair as Calem~ And I would live for blue hair, HAHA!! Hope they'll offer a dye option~ X3
 
I'm not really bothered about the hat thing, as long as there's some decent options. A beanie would be nice.
 
I do buy all the clothes and that in one version of game and I generally don't use any apart from getting the bambo thing in Kiloude City. Maybe they introduce type specialist clothes like Dragon clothes/uniform then I might be more into it. Plus some reward items (non-customization) for certain customization would be a real benefit.
 
I mentioned it in the "things we want but won't get" thread, but I'd love an age option for the character. That aside, I basically hope that we can dress as pretty much any trainer class, or even some of the important NPCs. More hair options would be good too, as have been said.
 
When it comes to me and CC, I was a little unsure about it as I just basically started to do it at the end of the story in my first play of X and Y. However, now, I believe that it is a pretty cool idea after playing around with it and I'd love to see if maybe GF does something that changes the game involving it. For example, I love the idea of showing being able to show your age, hair, skin, and the like. In addition, I would also love to be able to have other customization features as well including the PokeBall stickers, PC Boxes, stickers on your bag, maybe even being able to use something like the contest scarfs (or other costumes) and have it show on the Pokemon while battling.
 
Part of me thinks that they'll give us past PC costumes because it's the 20th anniversary, but this is GF we're talking about. The've missed opportunities before.
 
So Me and some people on Youtube were arguing if the female PC could have a Bikini in game. I argued that since the character is in the age 10-13 range it would be inappropriate and some parents (cough the ones that thought blaizkens fur was a penis) would freak out over it. What are your guys opinion on this?

edit: Also for the Hat discussion I want all previous Pc's hats availabl. SO I can wear Brendan's knit cap in Alola too xD
 
If the girl can wear almost no pants/skirt at all, then a bikini should be fine too :p

Though I doubt they're letting you run around half naked for the whole game, same that the boy won't be able to only wear swimming trunks.

Honestly it would be funny if we could go to the icy mountain while wearing nothing but a swimming suit.
 
I just realized this. What if they don't want to talk about customizatoon because we get mega accessories this gen. With the new bracelet, it would he silly to also have a mega bracelet or bangle, and now rhat they are an established feature they don't need something so prominent. Basically, now we can have a key stone in a ring, on your cap, in a locket, or anything else they think of. Perasonally I would love a keystone accessory for wearable sunglasses.

That would be funny. What if when we get to the icy mountain area someone stops us and gives us a coat? Random but would be a nice touch, unless we either get warmer clothing options anyway (which I doubt), or we generally just head there in our Tropical attire. Would be nice to see if they implement the PC shivering or showing they are cold, I can't remember if they did that in Frost Cavern in XY or not? I think they did if you stay still...
 
I'm glad that they seem to be backing out of the implied "customization is Kalos only" thing. People had been wanting that for years, and then we get it in one set of games for an entire generation, never to be seen again until we *maybe* get gen 6 remakes?

Eugh... I could deal with some of the things they removed after the generation was done with, or when we weren't in the region, but a watch has nothing on character customization.

I might not even be mad that they may not have as many options if my assumption is correct. Disappointed, but at least we have it, and might still have it for generations to come.
