I can't control Max's actions however if you paid attention I pushed him on that. I don't think I got a response from him yet. I did give him advice because he tends to be hard to read an I wanted to eat him to open up more as a player.

Lastly I don't remove votes till I change them unless my vote presents the danger if causing the death of someone at that moment. Icase in point is my vote on darth remained until I voted elie, despite me realizing after ME pointed it out that I voted a joke post. And thus untill I find a case I don't see a point to remove my vote. I rather keep that extra pressure there. Not like it's hurting anyone.

Just because it had some joke reasoning to it doesn't mean it wasn't serious. I joke around a lot even when it's serious. But without a doubt it was a serious vote at the time.

But seriously, though, votes and vote histories are fairly important for townspeople to track. Giving joke reasoning for a vote in early D1, even if you claim said vote is serious, provides major room for potential backtracking in case of mislynch.

tbh mido's vote to darth is confusing, i interpreted the last line as some defensive jab to his offence jab which plays off better but mido claims she didn't think it was a joke, so she didn't take darth's comment as an offensive jab? I think how it is said could be interpreted both ways but it makes a lot more sense as her taking it seriously w/ that response

They're like some other players, posting but don't feel like they're giving enough meat to actually be involved with what's going on or making anything to be involved with. Hopefully it's just because the game is still in the early stages so there's still time to think stuff more thoroughly but at this point it feels like the game is the "HumanDawn/FinalArcadia/Midorikawa/ Maniacal Engineer/Elieson show with guest appearances by Max1996 and Zexy"...

I wanted to look into Max for a minute mostly because ME impressed me and I am a devout follower. There are 2 votes on him, but one is a joke vote by Darth (I think?), and the other is by Elieson which reads like a pressure vote (#179).

What's unusual here to me, is that of the bottom four, people like Max have posted about other things, mostly random stuff, and did not comment on anything related to me (not you, ME, but me me). Iteru hasn't said much of anything, but DW and Ereshkigal both have thrown out a few comments that should've contains game chat, but didn't. Max strikes me as the most-vocal-without-saying-anything player. Why are they ignoring the conversation?

Not necessarily. A chemical reaction is one molecule "dissecting" another in some cases, or two or more "dissecting" each other, resulting in new molecules.

You could literally talk about anything that anybody is talking about, including me being scum, people thinking I'm scum, people not thinking I'm scum, others reactions and interpretations. Even if you take me bringing up Cult out of the equation (which is fine, please do), there's people taking the game seriously other than myself (HD, ME, FA, Mido). Do those four ping you in any way? What about the others I mentioned, like DarthWolf, Eresh, and Iteru? What are people saying, or not saying? Comment on something.

Max's response to Eli's question about reads on four specific players. He stays noncommittal.

This. I don't think HumanDawn has been in every game I've been in, but it at least comes rather close to that.

He agrees with HD's summation of Max's playstyle based on previous games.

Honestly, looking back at my past games, it seems unintentionally making myself look scummy (even when I'm actually not Mafia) is a recurring thing of mine.

Response to @Space (Hi there! Long time no see ) saying that not giving reactions is scummy even if a player doesn't like giving thoughts. More conversation about his meta. Ho-hum.

He strikes me as the most pushy player in this game so far, as weak as that may be for actually voting him.

And here's a strange vote (IMO) on Elieson, citing that he is pushy. That's rather weak since Elieson is always like this...and he even admits it! Just weird.

What about her? It's noteworthy because those 3 are thought of as "power players", people that had been around for very long and know how to play, being correct several times etc. I found it weird it was them 3 sheeping among each other with the less experienced not voting for him at all.

What exactly were you getting at with this post? It was in response to Elieson bringing up the cult possibility, but I don't understand what this has to do with it or how it contributes anything to that discussion. And, I might be missing context from other games, but why point out those players in particular? Your only posts beside this one were a joke and basically a continuation of that joke vote, so this being your first serious post confuses me on what your intent was with it.

The strange thing about it is that they came a bit out of the blue, she did quote a single Eresh post... but I don't get why she only pointed this out while ignoring others.

Overall there is a tendency of overexpanding on one case and just barely touching a few more, ignoring the rest of the game. Not a good look but it's not enough to call her scum on sight either (tbh I haven't managed to check too many cases this game either).

On the whole cult situation. Now that Elie tells about a certain recruitment, it is a possibility. I'm not focusing on though, no need to waste time on a possible group while we have a guaranteed mafia group to find.
