Preview SM031: Lychee Appears! Laugh and Cry, Island Queen!!

It was one of the "Rivals" that were taking from the actual XY game, don't ask for the name I can't remeber, it was basically destroyed by Alains Charizard X.

Are you talking about Trevor? Yeah, the poor kid got the short end of the stick. And to think that in the XY games he was actually my favorite member of the trio…
 
I was waiting the whole series for a Mega Charizard X vs Y battle, hoping that Ash'll get one. I prefer X, so hoped Ash to get it. Now Alain comes along. Ok, atleast Ash could get Y. Ash gets Ash-Greninja, nice maybe someone will get Mega Charizard Y. Then they announce the X vs Y title and I get hyped... to see a battle <10 seconds.

And to put salt on the wound, in the very next episode, my favourite Pokemon is bashed by Mega Sceptile, almost as if the writers wanted to torture Raichu's reputation. These were so deep wounds that I ended up creating a headcanon that my RP character battles Ash, Alain, and Sawyer and wins against all of them (I was so pissed that I ended up writing the whole battles step by step (I still have got the scripts of My Trainer vs Ash and Sawyer).

So, yes, the first part of Lumiose conference was disappointing for me.

There is also the possibility the writters will troll us again just like with Iris's Axew. Remember that it wanted to evolve too but it never happened. What if the writters do the same with Rockruff?

Ash is better than Iris in that regard. Rockruff is much more productive than Axew (I haven't watched BW, but from what I infer, it was a Misty's Togepi kind of Pokemon). Rockruff joined a battle club to gain Experience, and battled its evolved form, too.

That was more due to the fact that Axew ended up becoming a mascot of the generation.
 
I wonder if the title is a reference to Lychee getting emotional over shoujo manga like her game concept art depicts. :p

So if this form debuts in a future game, it's probable that Ash's Rockruff will evolve into it rather than one of the two current ones.

Yeah, I heard about that on the serebii forums. Supposedly, there's a 3rd lycanroc form...or at least that's the rumor.

If that is the case, what is it going to be called the early morning form?
 
Tbh I arent excited a bit.. It will be another "funny" episode with ANOTHER lycanroc.... And it goes sooo slow.... I am just wondering why the pokémon company takes so much breaks in SM... No inspiration?

Pretty sure breaks are because another show needs the timeslot. These episodes are created months in advance so "no inspiration" really doesn't make any sense.
