Apparently, people don't have the attention for it, but apparently they DO for all the junk that you need to do to even GET into competitive, and I guarantee you, doing that legitimately is a thousand times more lengthy than any postgame. If they really went by what they said on that, again, Pokemon Go should've turned into the main series long ago.

Theres another gameinformer video that that says the games won't be open world because that wouldn't work with pokemon

View: https://youtu.be/HgTUuEG96K4

That being said, I hope the world is bigger but not open like botw.

Okay, did not see that one- I think what may have been the key word in my video was "open-ish" rather than "open" so... probably still a bigger world, but since we're likely still following a clear path (ex: beat one gym, beat the next gym), it definitely can't reach the level of open world that BOTW has.

Most that I hope for right now is just the ability to climb and maybe swim without a pokemon's help. XD If I wanna scale the side of a cliff, lemme climb that cliff. I got hands and legs, I'm a capable trainer.

What I don't want is an excess of linearity. I mean, you walk on a route and all the exits but one are locked. You go in a different way and someone stops you and tells you to go the other way. The first 3 hours of the game feel like GF holds your hand and slowly brings you where it wants to. That's really frustrating.

Yeah I hope to see less of that. I'm still dumbfounded that I had a road blocked in Sun and Moon because a stoutland wasn't done sniffing there yet. >.>

At the very least, they can fulfill one popular demand and finally let us skip the pokemon catching tutorial.

I've had a lot of ideas in that avenue, but it sounds more like a Ranger game than a main series game.

As long as their target audience is children (which it always will be) this will never happen.
For a company that speaks often of long time fans and people who have grown up with the games, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that they may one day consider giving the option to skip being told how to weaken a pokemon and throw a ball at it.

In the video, they speak of the matter you have to use pokemon to progress, so my ideas are kinda an expansion of the Pokeride system or even somehow teaching your own pokemon how to clear certain obstacles.

Thats why it would be DLC and not part of the Gen 8 experience

Most trainers would be around level 80-100
I don't think that GF would put in EA level DLC and microtransactions. This is EA level DLC and microtransactions. And, I don't think that GF wants to be compared to EA.

Purely an overworld ability. I wouldn't go back to HMs, but they might.

XD I was joking because that's what it sounded like, but I can't see us going back to that either.

I think what would be neat would be a sort of hybrid between the HM system and Poke Rides where we could teach our own eligible pokemon to perform a task without taking up a move slot. Maybe not have to carry them with you, but have a device that will have that designated pokemon on-call no matter whether it's in your party or in your PC.

Mythicals should definitely be DLC. I'd love to be able to go back to the Gen 4 system where we could get an item and go catch them ourselves. It feels so much more like an achievement than someone just handing you one of the rarest Pokemon existence, like it was a common potion.

I honestly don't care if we get an item to catch the legend or we just get it from someone, as long as I get a good nature, thats all I care about. More importantly, has there been any more recent leaks?

With respect we're coming at this from entirely different angles. I personally don't care about natures as I'm not into competitive. I just wanna catch em all ;) :)
