Another Halloween wasted in the presence of fools.


I might as well say it now, to bring SOME excitement to this dull excuse for a party before it takes its final bow...

Light, how good to see you again... I was afraid you had hidden from the party in order to reduce the chances of someone fingering you as Kira... again... I suppose this method has had some success... But your bad habit of writing down names in notebooks still raises red flags...

How fortunate that you made this announcement, the police squad waiting right outside the doors will be happy to escort you to prison, Mr. Giovanni. I called them and had them surround the party a few hours ago, seeing as this is the end of the party... at which time I promised to make arrests if proven necessary. *chomps on some candy* I was hoping to net Kira, but...

Aha, it looks like Halloween has passed, and the time has come to reveal my costume. As everyone else should, as well. There is no point in being at a costume party after Halloween drifts off, no?

That sentient mechanical bastard, me! And yes, I intentionally lied about her being someone else. It wasn't against the rules, after all! (notice: I thought that people would have enough common sense that we wouldn't need rules, but after the line was crossed twice, maybe we do need some rules)
