They'll probably bare their fangs once Rainbow Rocket appears, because I doubt ya boi Guzma is gonna care for others muscling in on Alola

Too little too late though - Guzma should've debuted a long time ago, and instead they replaced him with Bourgain
 
I'm genuinely, positively pleading that Rainbow Rocket never shows up in the anime ever as they were my absolute least favourite part of USUM; very nearly convincing me to do the impossible by willingly skipping two entries in a row. No joke, I would seriously stop watching the anime until their arc is done.

Whoa. What made you hate that so much? Most people I've seen have at least somewhat liked it.
 
I kinda doubt following this episode, we all may finally see Poipole world (Ultra Megalopolis) according to the opening it might be very different from the base game as it is nothing only darkness after Necrozma stole it to remain mobile throughout the Ultra Space.

Guzma is still going to show up at some point. No evil team has ever appeared without their leader.

And Rainbow Rocket is post-game; the anime never touches post-game stuff (without the exception of Battle Frontier because they needed filler until Gen 4). Besides, Giovanni is going to be the antagonist of the Necrozma arc, as shown by his interest in it.

Having a mind of plotting vengeance with Kyurem and the power that almost equivalent to Arceus. How the hell, he can control it?

Also, does Necrozma able to speak in Anime? Again, if it going to hideout in Mount Lanakila after the defeat by Ash and his Classmate along with Naganadel (Poipole evolves) like in the base game occurred?

Best Wishes turned the majority of BW2 into "post-game" content by placing it after the League

XY&Z did a similar thing with the Kalos Crisis (not that many actually bothered to watch it because Ash had already lost the League and as such the series was over :p)

I think it'd be weird for it to not appear since its placement in the UB group shot from the OP is almost final boss-y.

I mean, there's still pretty much a year. As anything it's not guaranteed, but it still could happen easily.
 
I feel the same way I felt during the AF arc: it will go so fast and will be over in one,two,three. Peacing is something SM has work on. What I loved about XYZ is that you actually saw some progress on the Legendary Pokémon in some episodes and it took a time to the final of the TF Arc.
 
Giovanni's planning something, that'll take the place of Rainbow Rocket. Plus Giovanni's the villain in LGPE, so no fear of that going absolutely nowhere like the thing with Team Flare back in XY.

And it's too late for the Ultra Recon Squad if anything. I wouldn't expect them to show up at this rate. If Team Skull can get cut from the Aether story, the Squad can get cut from Necrozma's.... sad as it is

You do know that XY131 wasn't the end of the XY series, right?

Don't feel bad: you're not the only one who made that mistake

I suggest you go back and watch the nine episodes that came after that
