Yikes, sorry about that. I rechecked through page 7 where it seemed like most of your posts on the subject where, but I think my brain is a bit fried right now being extremely nervous about a dentist appointment tomorrow because clearly I missed it lol.

Re: Max's lack of claiming, it's not exactly reassuring, but the fact that he's still posting and honestly that he isn't just throwing a claim out there (personally, if I can't come up with a fakeclaim as mafia quick in-thread while being asked for it, I try to ignore the thread a while) or freezing up is making me actually think he's town and just worded things wrong when he unvoted.
 
I do appreciate the lack of claim from a strategic standpoint, but even if Max is Jester, I don't really see a problem with lynching him now. This is just my personal opinion, but it seems better to me to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.
 
I suppose Max being a Jester is plausible, though I could also easily think of a Mafia role that would fit him, and so far he’s done the most out of the players to warrant a lynch in my eyes. Best case scenario if we carry through with the Max lynch, we’ll have busted scum on Day one, and if he is the Jester there’s no real loss for the Town besides a misspent lynch. Of course, there’s still the possibility he’s actually a Townie, but I don’t see that being very likely as it stands.
 
If Max is the Jester, then why not vote Max and let him win? I don't see any problems with letting an independent win Day 1 (unless the host has decided that an independent win counts as a game-ending factor?)

Even if Max is not the Jester, I don't see other options.
 
I'm with MegaPod and Kyriaki. Don't see anybody else to vote for.

Mmm, starting to see where Max is coming across as jester-y but I'm also starting to get suspicious of him for not claiming. Either way, like MegaPod says... lynch him and he turns up scum - great. Lynch him and he turns up jester - not a loss, but not a win.

There's nothing to get out of the way, though. We don't have to lynch Max if he's a jester ever. I don't think.

This seems really unnecessary to say and kind-of-sort-of on the subject... even though Max is a good lynch candidate and I'm feeling pretty good about this, what I don't feel good about is the "calling it a day attitude" with his lynch.
 
We could always have a cop or someone check him at night. Then we don't give him a day one win or mislynch. And if he is scum, we can simply kill him tomorrow.

Why will you not vote until a “definite bandwagon” forms? This implies that you’re only going to vote on a bandwagon, which means that you’re either too lazy to scumhunt your own reads, or you don’t have to because you’re scum and you can just sheep off the reads of others. I think a townie would have said this post as “I’m going to hold off my vote to see if someone more scummy appears” or wouldn’t have said anything at all.

Regardless of whether or not they’re being serious, wouldn’t the second or third voter look scummier than the first? Especially when they jump to vote quite quickly after the fact with little added reasoning and no real need for pressure.
