My hatred of the No Lynch (other than MyLo) is well-documented among people who have known me in Mafia. It is strategically horrendous in nearly every Day 1 it is ever proposed for. My concern with this vote though is less a strategic matter and more about flicking the booger. Dumping a vote here is a cop out. It is the only vote which cannot generate pressure; the only dialogue it tends to inspire is an argument about no lynches, and it doesn't come with a promise for accountability upon some eventual lynch flip.

The Syndicateers may recall the Sunny in Philadelphia game -- mafioso Mongoose fell in love with the No Lynch option, and this smells similar to me.

My vote for it is simply because this is an extremely unusual situation, and I am at the point where I cannot yet get a clear read on this game. I essentially have no reads yet on who to vote for beyond whatever I would get from a random number generator.

I will likely change my vote later, once I've got more information.

Alright, I am going to

Vote: Ereshkigal

Even around here, No lynch is considered to be bad.

Even if you guys all voted for me, I cannot be removed from being able to participate in the game via any action short of a mod action. So voting for me and voting for No Lynch are the same thing.

Which kinda annoys me, since it basically means I'm useless except for trolling the Mafia and voting. And by now, the Bulba-native Mafia is smart enough to check me if I don't say anything, and there's some risk that Bulba members are Mafia. So, essentially, I have to assume they will know this by Day 2 anyway and thus won't even come after me.

Essentially, I'm basically useful only for voting.

... voting is like the single most important thing a player can do in the game. Why would this be a hindrance in any way?
You also have a voice. I encourage you to use it as much as possible.

That said, I'm unclear on what this claim is. And I'm unclear on why it needs to exist at this moment.

Can I politely ask for some elaboration, you're basically immune to any action that doesn't involve the mod taking you out of the game?

Are you saying you're... what's the role name? The one where you persist after death and can still make game comments?

also bulba account.

The comparison he drew is likely unclear to most. bulba account played with us recently on TS (under the name ts account; such is his clever shtick) called "World Flags". Sloonei was a mafioso in that game. I thought bulba account looked genuine in his recounting of that to draw a contrast here.

Ditto on the bulba read.

Er, trust me, you don't want me to use my voice as often as possible. There's a history there. I had to turn down a nomination because of it. Something I'm working on.

Are you saying you're... what's the role name? The one where you persist after death and can still make game comments?

Yep. I'm Restless Spirit again.

What does this role do? Why did you decide to claim just now?

Do your thing. I'll interpret however I may.

I don't know what this is. I'll call upon to greater Bulbagarden wisdom: based on what y'all know of Ereshkigal and their niche in the community, do you feel it's sensible for them to expect a mafia check by default and thus motivate this semi-claim thing?

I can post still after death. Voting, mod-provided OC convos, being able to make comments on my role PM, etc. all go away. I'm essentially a mouthy spectator with a more limited view once killed.
