We'll start with that opening refrain to the Calvin suspicion. Is that not an awkward way to frame a suspicion? "Calvin is on this list because..." It is almost like Caps is suggesting that a fabrication is necessary in order to put Calvin in the position of Primary Suspect. "I have selected Calvin as a suspect, and now I will need to produce a reason for that." The cart is in front of the horse. "... because of the shady interactions..." may also reveal a seam in the fabricated case here. He does not say "I suspect Calvin because of his interactions with AussieEevee." The interactions have been pre-qualified as shady by others, and those interactions were sufficient to put Calvin on a list.
I've extracted the bits that interest me most. I agree that the combined vagueness of "shady interactions" and shared accountability of the read with "others" is not ideal. It's suggestive that Caps has a general appreciation for where the thread is/has been regarding Calvin and wants to dip his toes into that pool, but can't quite get himself in there without [the suspicions of other people] as floaties.
He also tacks on an additional piece of a case against Calvin, and I don't think it makes sense. It's a Mr. Fantastic-esque stretch to suggest that Calvin was trying to deflect suspicion onto me yesterday, and also a bizarre leap to suggest that I "caught Calving in a lie", and that this move was then somehow anticipated by the mafia, who preemptively silenced me(?). Calvin was a town read of mine for most of the day, and during Night 1 had dropped down only to a middle-tier read on my rainbow. He'd been receptive to my hunting on Day 1. I don't think any of this suggests an urgency on Calvin's part to have me silenced.
Another minor ping I get here is "Why the kill didn't go through, I don't know." That remark seems shoehorned in. It's not entirely relevant to the discussion of my silencing, but it's tucked into the middle of it arbitrarily. My guess is Caps does have an idea as to why the kill failed because he picked the target.
That bit fits awkwardly alongside the theory Caps provided to describe Calvin as shading you. It's a convoluted thought process that looks like it had to be mangled together with glue and tape.
