Mafia USM Ubers Mafia endgame (Town and Genesect victory)

No. This attitude helps nobody. You suggest it is a “waste of time” to engage civilians in their concerns. You are not doing anything more useful with your time right now. You’re here. Tell us what your theory is about the game’s continuation. Vague suggestions about nova don’t cut it.
The way I see it, the cult theory seems highly viable. We have a player who has literally told us he’s got a recruitment role. Three scum are dead in a 13-player setup. There is almost certainly a hostile independent. A cult fits the bill. You are verifiably tied to the claimed recruiter and don’t deny it. Your role claim is contradicted by another player. That other player happens to have a non-town ID on your partner. He also claimed before you did and breadcrumbed to his scum ID beforehand.

Remind me in the morning to check out your treatment of Calvin on Day 2. Meanwhile, I’ll wait for you to provide an alternative theory.

And the very first thing we all started doing when we saw Former’s flip was start tryiinf to figure out why the game is still going on.

I am absolutely willing to see things from your view. That’s why I’ve been asking you the same question over and over. I just refuse to degrade or disregard Ereshkigal’s point of view the way you have.

But i’m also likely to be asleep soon.
 
We eliminated the entire mafia team in 3 days with Ereshkigal as a central figure for the town faction. I have no complaints about her play in this game.

they are the entire reason I am forced to take this defensive stance and claim cop for myself rather than chuck covering for me

I guess we assume that I started out as the cultist with the recruitment power, night one I targeted chuck, who happens to be a neighborizer, who happens to also have targeted me that night as well. Convenient.
The next night, I visited the caps fan, which is confirmed by our glorious tracker. The next day I tell chuck to claim cop with a green check on the person I recruited, because of course this is an optimal cultist play. I then berate ereshkigal for loudmouthing my visit, saying if I was the cop I would have been outed.
FURTHERMORE, I do this with the knowledge that having multiple of the same roles in a game is as good as being counterclaimed, so chuck is likely to die. This makes sense if I am planning on winning the game at parity the next night, so why then would I claim cop?

There. As a cultist, the sequence of actions that would have had to take place are both fortuitous and just bad plays. I try not to make bad plays (like bussing LOL)
 
seriously, you just have to look at it and think, "what kind of cultist does this?"

  1. ereshkigal is bad at mafia and should not be listened to, honestly.
  2. SMS is still just as likely as ever to be SK
  3. I honestly have no clue what is going on with novas/speedchuck or how to resolve it, I am a cop, not a vigi
I am reasonably sure that given the threat of me checking him, chuck opts to kill me over ereshkigal, so I am naturally inclined to believe him over novas
of course it was ereshkigal who suggested this was all an elaborate ploy to get me to accept his pocket [citation needed]

I just don't like ereshkigal.
I do not want to play mafia with them and naturally they have an ability that allows them to keep talking beyond death
somehow despite nothing they say being remotely reasonable, people are still listening to them
it's at the point where I think you have to be scum because so far you have been much more rational about things being logical and having to make sense
but how can you possibly be scum?

Me, calvin, and caps are all clear, chuck most likely clear due to actions taken.
novas comes in and says chuck is bad, and you listen to them over me. Why?

Maybe there is a cult, but it's not us who are the cultists.

greatly thanks to me we are in a position where we can probably throw and still not lose so do what you want I guess, I might as well not even check anyone because nobody would believe me, now there's a depressing thought
 
Still reading, but just wanted to say... guys? Dale was town. I've seen people refer to that slot as scum since then, but both the PM and role flip have the slot listed as town oriented.
