Good reads, it's a shame you've been put in this posting Lazy, I'll say this is just noob!Town rather than scum due to the way they have given up. Now it's time to look at ZMS.

Again, if you're reading them as noob Town, then why are you voting for them? The post earlier really didn't clarify this either.

We didn't unvote when we voted, so it didn't count, I was fixing it. I liked Lazy's posts so far, so I'm looking at ZMS' posts to decide whether to vote instead.

I'm currently reading through ZMS posts to build a case for a vote, I voted SN because I realised my vote didn't count, afterwards I saw Lazy's post where I felt it was more noob town, so I'm reading up on ZMS (and other scumreads. Do you understand now?

Ok, so, first thing during my read-through is that I don't get the big deal about SunSpear putting themselves in their Towncore. Like, yes, someone is going to call themselves Town. Your point?


I'm gonna disagree with this, even back when you'd posted this, other players had formed clear opinions and formed reads in either direction. This just feels kinda low effort to avoid having to look at things.

I think the point there was that short posts are bad if there's not many of them. A larger number of short posts balances to roughly the same amount of content as a few larger ones, but when it's only a few short posts, then they're not really giving much content.

Ok so I'm gonna go eat dinner and come back later to try and properly read some more.

Apologies for the many posts and the confusion. We had a bit of an internal misunderstanding of who we wanted to vote for.

Personally I feel like Scumlord deserves to die. Any implosion should not be rewarded. But in all honesty, mafia members rarely implode... Lynching probably wouldn’t do more than to set an example.
Thus, I prefer to lynch ZMS. He’s already been at the top of my scumlist for ages. We just agreed internally that we’ll go for ZMS. So we’re going to change our vote.

I’m using my phone right now so I won’t go in more details for now, I already explained my suspicions against them in previous posts. Just posting this to fix a misunderstanding. (Koki)

this was in response to me thinking that early game reads are useless. well ok, i actually meant early game reads posts are useless, and i think that because people can't possibly come up with reads that are substantial enough to warrant a list, imo. also, in the first twgs i played, i watched my wolf partners make bs lists and thought "that's a great way for wolves to fake activity"

okay, yeah, reads posts are useless but i hope you agree that reads especially early on are not useless

ftr playstyle wise im inclined to read someone early and stick to it for the rest of the game

i'm town reading bok child (mind meld) and have a kinda town on restless ridge (natural post progression) as well

the tommy and hal and thesunspear reads felt like they said nothing to me btw. how does the utr c ontribute to your thoughts on thier alignment? why does moe posting more matter(i assume this is meta related to expand on this for me pls pls)

The reason I dislike the tiny posts so much is because it just makes reading the thread hell. You’re putting things in separate posts that could easily be in the same one. I can understand if it’s some kind of back-and-forth conversation trying to solve things, but when it’s just the one account making half a dozen posts in a row I just have to wonder “why”? It makes sorting through your posts an annoyance so I basically need to condense my reads on you into general opinions for the sake of my own sanity. It’s artificially bloating the page count and making it harder than it needs to be to sort and read through the thread. Especially when so many of them seem to be pointless comments that don’t contribute to the thread at all.

I get your points about long planned out wallposts being easier for scum to do than talking on their feet. That’s a good point and makes sense. If you’re making game relevant discussion trying to solve things, that’s cool, I can understand that. But could you maybe just try to put more than one point into each post?

If it’s all a slot is doing, then yes. If you’re not making game relevant comments and just shitposting an irrelevant conversation for an entire page then you’re being the exact opposite of helpful. Also I’ve seen you saying “wrt” a few times now, is that supposed to be an acronym for something?

also i have alignment indicative content. why are you shading me for this? if this is nothing more than a complaint on my posting style then i get it but dismissing my content as "fluff" is sort of offensive and shows you're not really reading. i have the same complaint with @Bok's Lovechild's first post

this is sort of a rambling post and has nothing to do with the thread at hand

i get it's site culture but ive sort of identified myself as a spamposter for a while now so this sort of restriction sort of pains me as a player because it's sort of how i express myself. i think "personal conversations"(whatever) arent actually completely useless(tonal reads) and i rarely post something without some sort of purpose. imo mafia is supposed to be a fun, personal style game so imo it's refreshing to see different styles which is why im sort of concerned for the fact that it's illreceived here. nevertheless as hard as people may claim it is to see one liners have solace in the fact that it is equally painful for me to not go crosseyed when im staring at a wall LMAO

lone wolf is still a good vote what do you think tommy? i am of the opinion that lone wolf is a good vote here. i dont have a very towny opinion of this slot. although i am trying to make this post more than one line it is hard because sometimes there is only one thing you need to say; thus making it inefficient to repeat the same things i am saying. anwyay, i made these three lines to demonstrate the fact that i am still voting lone_wolf and that is all you need to know at this point

Aflame-No, I can't. Because he's not lurking. Dunno what the heck Conty was talking about, honestly.
H&S- Mega was often jumping on wagons and switched his votes every two posts. Some folks considered this scum at first. He was cleaned by claiming a Vig on Eresh when Eresh got NK'ed. I don't see much diffirence in the way he writes his posts now than how he did back then. But is writing style really a good factor to judge anybody's mafia-ness by? I'd like to hear others thoughts.
And Max? He's just being Max, getting easilly confused over many stuff, reminding people of rules, short posts without too much contribution, etc.
Chillian- I personally like Hyper Majority, especially in games like this where trolls do shitposts all the time. Dunno why that made Cont suspect you, especially considering the fact you are not the only one in this game who likes HM. Many have admitted to like it here.
Leetic- Contribution, constructive posts, pushing the game forward- what else can I say?
I have no reall opinion on Tommy and Hal and RR at this point, sorry.
Sunspear- seems to be bouncing between troll and contribution. Hopefully now that he was asked to drop his act by authorities, he finally will be less trolly and more constructive. The trolling might've been just the result of his other head posting, I don't know either of them.

Conty had better plays than that one? Really? Could you link me to those? Cuz the one I was playing with him wasn't really that good... (He was a Town Cop in an OC game, but did not contribute to catching any scum, at least, not very much.)

As for the self-vote, Cont done this without asking me. I can already tell you though we won't be too big of a loss for the game, as our role sucks anyway. Sorry for not being more contributive, I just have too many stuff to focus on at once for a 15-year old...

Well, a number of people here feel the same about the smaller posts that could easily be combined into one. I feel like this is just something that everyone present is going to have to get used to on both sides of the fence.

I mean, I really don't want you to have to sub out because you feel unwelcome. I get that it's probably just as rough for you to go through my posts as it is for me to go through yours. that first part about the short posts was written in a place of frustration, and I'm gonna try to not get as worked up about all the short posts.
