Mafia ZD X BMG 2019 Link’s Awakening Hydra Mafia Crossover Game Thread

  1. Aflame - claimed roleblocker, but I think I've found them somewhat towny otherwise? imo, this is a scummy role and there's like a 5% chance they hooked sunspear to frame them for the kill, but also like, why. That's such an unnecessary play. (also the fact they went and did research about things on other sites suggests to me town motives)
  2. Mafia Nursing Home - idk, zeroing in on their most recent reads post to try to solve this slot. They have a lot of words but also it seems like they disguise a vast majority of their actual reads by posting facts and tidbits instead of opinions and actual reads. I could see this slot being mafia I think.
  3. Lone Wolf - Nothing they've done has stood out to me memory wise
  4. leetic and the band - I stand by thinking they are town still
  5. dum dum idiots - I might be just WIFOMing here. But I don't like their focus on me. Like, I fully acknowledge that my slot isn't in a great spot. But they have that really weird post about townreading sunspear despite the obvious implications. Both things combined it almost feels to me that they might be TMI'ing about the sunspear lynch and trying to set me up for the next mislynch

  7. thesunspear - then this slot, I don't think there's anything to be gained from idling the mafia kill here (except for the cases of super niche plays), so the obvious solution here is probably the correct one, this slot is scum

oh whoops, in that case apply that part to them. Though...eh, nah. I still don't think there's ever a world leetic is mafia so while I guess technically that would could still possibly be the case. I doubt that even more if it's from the leetic slot (ie, iirc everyone is town reading them, so why bother with a play like that when it increases the time for the cop to act).

i don't even know what to say about this.
aflame did not claim roleblocker. that was leetic. on top of that, mafia already had a roleblocker. any other roleblocker must be town.

your opinion about me is absolutely OMGUS. i've been suspicious of you for days, and i've been giving reasons why from the beginning. but now i'm rethinking because wtf is this post. none of this makes any sense there's hardly any effort put into it and there are things that are clearly incorrect in here. if you are scum playing dumb then it really is working. i can't imagine anybody not paying attention like this as scum.

as i've said, i've thought about it and i think the sunspear role is town. developing JOAT is, so far, unique. if anyone else has changed over time then i can conclude that it's a common thing and therefore probably NAI, or maybe someone has been affected by something-or-other and that's throwing a wrench into things.

their checks should be obvious from those

oh right, the mafia did. So yay, the role that was closest to obv town is even more obv town

but also yeah sorry, I'm just not invested in this game. I'd consider subbing out, but given a sub can't be found for my other head well, I figure an uninvested slot is still better than a completely inactive slot.

But also didn't you start scumreading my slot because nuxl wasn't around to answer that one question of yours? Then you were informed that nuxl wasn't around but continued to scum read it anyways? Like, that logic is pretty flimsy.
 
also unvoting after that is such a weird reaction like, being univested in a game isn't alignment indicative. Paying attention to the game itself can be alignment indicative for some people, but you don't have any meta knowledge on me in terms of that.

All I did was call you out for something you could possibly maybe be doing and then suddenly you unvote me. Like ??? just weird reaction imo.

The ironic thing about this is that this post feels like a reverse OMGUS. Why would you unvote after seeing something like this? Is it really alignment indicative whether they're paying attention to the game or not? I've seen stuff like this happen from both town and scum, and as important as reads lists are (especially if someone flips cop), I'm starting to find it odd how much you're pushing for them and giving them value on this day in particular. In fact, by your logic, you yourself would be the suspicious one.
Like, come on, no need to be this uncharacteristically dramatic.

I could make a 1000 word essay on this statement here and how it connects to the entire philosophy of Mafia, and then connect it to my previous post about why careless remarks and "semantics" aren't alignment indicative, but I'd be wasting to much space on this page.

Instead, I'm just gonna say I'll be genuinely surprised if you flip Town because that would make me wonder what the heck were Mafia doing the previous nights?
