They could retcon her to a fairy type leader, or scrap the clefairy. Either wouldn't surprise meMakes me wonder if we'll get another Johto game if Whitney still have a Clefairy.
Easy solution: replace Clefairy with Jigglypuff. It still fits her theme and it's a Normal Type. They could retcon her to a fairy type leader, or scrap the clefairy. Either wouldn't surprise me
yes, so scrap the clefairy XDEasy solution: replace Clefairy with Jigglypuff. It still fits her theme and it's a Normal Type.
Johto:
Morty: He should have had the Misdreavus line in the remakes. I mean, it was given an evolution in the same generation as the Johto remake and he still doesn't use it? Why? It could easily have been his signature in the rematches, and Gengar was already used by another important trainer that outranked him.
Wattson: I really wished he kept the Electrike line in ORAS. That was his signature Pokemon, why on Earth would the developers get rid of it?
Not that I disagree with your suggestion, but none of the Johto Gym Leaders in HG/SS received team changes during the main storyline other than Clair iirc. So it seems a bit unfair to only target Morty's team for criticism.
Manectric was only his ace in Emerald, and since OR/AS were always hyped to be remakes of R/S foremost, I don't think that the decision to keep his R/S team intact for OR/AS could be avoided.
Isn't this a bit problematic considering she's the first Gym Leader?Roxanne: Nosepass, Cradily, Lairon
