What would be the point? The leak says that this new eevee style pokemon has a fire, electric and water evolutions. But those are the same evolutions that eevee has. If they were going to do a new kind of evolution Pokemon wouldn't they try to give it a different gimmick, like evolving into duel types?
 
So no news on this Wednesday. I wonder why ? Now we are very close to the release day. I definitely think that they should introduce new mons this Wednesday so they could make us forget last Wednesday's terrible announcement.

I personally think Wenge (the leaker) made themselves a lot less credible that they just so happened to be tired and leave the thread after they were asked how accurate the TCG leak is, and effectively didn't answer that.

The Wenge leak just seems unbelievable to me because there's so many new Pokemon and forms. It kinda seemed like he was just having fun rolling out descriptions of new Pokemon over and over. It makes for a fun read though.

I'm finding it incredibly hard to believe that the amount of new Pokemon + forms totals over the amount of new Pokemon we got in gen 5. (156)

New official art shows that Zacian doesn't always carry her sword on her mouth but she wraps it by her things ? Whiskers ? Scarf ? I don't know but art looks super good.

Yeah. GF has redone Pokémon concepts multiple times (like starters, first route rodent and bird, pseudo-legendaries, etc) but those are a standard in each generation now.

Eevee is not one they have previously retreaded on. If the Eevee line were not popular and not in Sword/Shield then I could see them trying something like this BUT as we all know the Eevee line is majorly popular and very much present in the games, so I can not see any reason for a new Eevee style Pokémon,
 
The idea of having another Pokemon that takes up so much pokedex space (like the Eevee family) gives me a headache.

At least its unlikely that an attempt at making a second Eevee would end up being as popular.

Definitely very unlikely, but in all fairness, it's not impossible that we'd get a lot of new Pokémon and I wouldn't exactly mind a high count either.

One thing I personally would find cool was if Eevee got evolutions for all the types that used to be special (only a Dragon evolution is missing for now), and its counterpart would get evolutions for the originally physical types. But a counterpart that just repeats what Eevee does, dunno if I'd grow to like it. Depends on its overall design, I suppose.

Zacian is soo cool and this image just makes that clearer. Perhaps even my favorite legendary of all time.

Curse GF for making Ponyta Shield exclusive and making me get Shield.

I would love another Eevee-like Pokémon, but only because I love split evos and the concept is so strangely underused. That being said, why would they have it evolved into the same three types that Eevee evolves into? That makes no sense. Let it evolve into like... Ground/Rock/Steel or something.

I would LOVE a different evolution for Vigoroth, though. But again, another dark type Galarian form used by Team Yell? Why? That role is filled already.
