I’d be fine with Polteageist being the Ghost-type of my team, but Runeagrigus would fill in the gap of I’m now missing a Ground type.

I can't believe that they did cut Heracross. Is it so unpopular? It is definitely one the most memorable pokémon of Gen 2. I'll strongly miss it.

Then maybe Mr. Rime and Runerigus might be version exclusives too and maybe gym leaders aces too?

It’s the only omission I’m actually kind of bummed about. Easily my favorite Pokémon :/

It doesn't seem like their decisions were completely based on popularity. I mean Garbodor is not only in but it also got a gigantamax form. Really I'm noticing plenty of old Pokemon in this dex that I wouldn't really call popular, which is kinda cool honestly.

While Pokemon like Lycanroc and Garchomp are out.

At this point I think the only new Pokemon we'll see is whatever mythical Pokemon are in the game....and for that we'll have to wait for the datamine.

Between the apple and the cake gave giga forms, Vaniluxe has tohave one as well. The three food pokemon ahaha

For the most part, I think designs of the new Pokemon/Galarian forms are pretty good. Definitely some interesting concepts. Only 94 of them though? Given the whole pokedex cut, they could have tossed in a bit more (at least Galarian forms).
