The following introduction is from awhile ago. However, Project Leaders are still very much in effect. The list of current Project Leaders is up to date, and we are always taking submissions.

In a recent AIM discussion regarding Bulbapedia developments, I suggested an idea that was met with interest and acceptance. So, for the sake of those not gifted with the ability to chat on AIM, I figured I'd post the idea here for further comment and suggestion.

Alright. So, everybody knows how Bulbapedia has [bp=Bulbapedia:projects]Projects[/bp], right? And for these projects, we have "founders" and "other members." Often, the "founder" is someone who no longer has any affiliation with the project, doesn't do most of the work, or has left the 'pedia altogether. This poses a problem for those who have to ask a question about the project. Who do they ask when the founder is inactive?

That's why we need a new group of users. These users will have no technical powers beyond what they already do, but they will have additional authority in matters regarding the project that they lead. I propose that these users be referred to as "Project Leaders." Makes sense, right? :D

So, here's the list of projects that need leading and the leaders as selected by myself and the rest of the Editorial Board. I'll update the list as we go along and select more leaders. If anyone has submissions for a position, complaints, requests, questions, comments, suggestions, etc., please post. Thanks!

I think coolpikachu deserves to be the manga leader. He is the most active (if not only) in the manga and works most of the stuff out that comes up.

I would also like to suggest an idea. Co-leaders. I think that Cipher and I should co lead project TCGdex, because we both come up with ideas and run the section, and I don't think either of us has any reason to be considered better in the section than the other. Plus, would it hurt to be able to ask two people for two opinions? I think it would be a great idea... plus I would like to be a leader. XD
 
You'd make a good leader at least for TCG, but what about those beautiful and shiny synopses you told me about?

Just in case you never got the PM, I want Music also. We can be co-leaders until electAbuzzzzzzzzzz gets back.
 
If it's possible I also want to be a leader in Project Music. I have made some contribuions in that area. I don't mind if I don't the position.

I'd be willing to lead Project MoveDex (not quite top-level, but still has a lot of work that needs to be done). I haven't done much work on the section since I first joined (I did a bunch of work back then), but I do have a good understanding of the formatting and layout, and I'd like to perhaps get some more people working on that. I think most of the older members in the project are inactive now.

I'd be willing to do Project Anime, since I frequent that side of the community the most. I know I don't do much other than make triva and edit mistakes, but I've contributed to bigger things (coverting to the new Gym Leader teams templates for example.)
 
I'd be interested in at least helping out with Locations.

I ... think so. I have to admit I never really knew that everything was classified so specifically.

EDIT: Now that I actually found and figured it all out, I've begun contributing as much as I can... unfortunately, I didn't know about the new Pokémon species coding so all the edits I just made have the old, unwieldy coding instead...

Not thing to take over Nando Chiaki, but Project Locations sounds good. But, I'm leader of Project:Trainer Class, can you be leader in two project?
