Moving on to another topic, I actually found out that Game Freak is hiring more new people since they now had two studios and these new people may have played Pokemon when they are in their youth, obviously. It's a good chance they may do something interesting with the new games. I know this may be old news but to me, I recently stumbled upon this while going through posts from Google search results, Reddit and Twitter.

Now that they're part of a larger office they should have access to more resources and manpower which will be great for the franchise going forward.

I do think that another Expansion Pass is not coming, as physical DLC bundles usually signify the end of DLC. I don't know exactly what could come out next year, but it's possible that we don't even get a new game at all and instead a collection of old games like what Mario got.

If they did a physical release with all the GB/GBC/GBA/GC games (even just as straight ports) I would honestly be all over that - as long as it has Home compatibility.

Personally though I think VC style releases on the Switch eshop for GBA/GC games is more likely, and I’d be happy enough with that.

I had fears that it will be overpriced.

New PokemonSnap and Pokemon Unite, plus others minor things and apps. I don't think will be a main series game next year.

I had fears that it will be overpriced, take a look at Mario 3D All Stars.

OK, initial preorders sold out, still seems to be selling fairly well, hasn’t had the Christmas boom yet and if I’d wanted I could have bought it new for £30 at one point* - seems to me they priced it right for the market.

(*Currys PC world in the UK had it available at £35 then had a code that would take £5 off - after a day they upped it to £40)

I don’t know why, but "Played Pokemon in their youth" is only used by GF when it comes to Kanto nostalgia so I don’t know if I want to see another round of that...

The leaker who shared Crown Tundra datamine and mechanics says that we're getting a main series game next year.

IDG how they are so certain about it. Like why would they know this from the leaked beta assets??

Really depends on who the leaker is and what their position within the organisation is. Though I'm faaaaairly sure that the beta asset leaks aren't from the same person who fed Crown Tundra stuff to Centro Leaks (and claimed that there would be a new main series game next year).

I wonder if it's the same guy that leaked both SpaceWorld and the Nintendo Gigaleak, specially considering he avoided a jail sentence last time... And yes, people know who it is.

If this is true, then my predictions about the collection not having DS or 3DS games are right.
