Pokémon Evolution/Capture/Release Thread

hen why make a fuss out of it in the first place? If you don't think it's a big deal, then you shouldn't have said anything. Just saying.
Eh, just because someone mentions something doesn't mean it's a big deal. It's always nice to credit the original artist but it's not exactly a major thing unless in certain situations, which this isn't.

Some People Like Grookey, I Bet Your Opinion Would Be Diffferent If You Cared About It.
Maybe, but that isn't saying much. I neither like nor dislike Grookey, but from an objective standpoint I don't see what a rookie starter would add to the PWC storyline at this point. Grookey could have joined Ash a year ago if they were meant for each other, but we got Dragonite and Gengar instead. Whether you approve or not, the writing should have a clear direction.

I think that Go needs a lot more episodes like the Flygon one to give the Galar starters a chance to shine. The legendary encounters are nice, but those battles aren't meant to be won.

Maybe The Episode Is About It Learning It’s Fine The Way It Is
You're describing episode 17, where Scorbunny wanted to improve itself but Gou said it was fine the way it was. Sobble was clearly inspired watching Inteleon, it would be dismissive for Gou not to fully support it.

As for Grookey, it's appearance being teased at the same time as Sobble's development mirrors Sobble's own appearance being teased following Scorbunny's development. Aside from that twitter art (and do you really think OLM would let one of their artists release such a massive spoiler lowkey?), signs are definitely pointing toward Gou catching it.

That Is Different. Scorbunny Wasn't Imppresed By Cinderace And Just Wanted To Learn A New Move While Goh Ignored It. I'm Saying While It's Training It Learns That It's Fine The Way It Is. Even Thouugh It's Very Unlikely, It Is A Possibility. And Also Like RileyXY1 Said, Axew Is A Thing. As For Grookey I Am Bored Of Discussing It And Everyone Seems To Be Against It. It's Not Fun While Everyone Argues Agains't You. It Fells Like A Torture So Im Not Gonna Talk About It. I Already Said The Reasons I Think Ash Will Catch It, And Grookey Will Bennefit From It.

Except for AG (where Mudkip might as well have not evolved), every series has had an unevolved starter. Right now Grookey would seem more likely to fit into that category, since it's debuting late and Sobble is indeed being hinted to evolve.
