Speaking fairly, have any of his capture sprees really been as crazy as the first one where he caught all of Kanto's Bug types? In just one episode he got more Pokémon than any of Ash's former travelling buddies did in their entire tenures...
I'd agree if it were literally any other episode, but not this. Gou will not disappear into off screen Land like Gengar after these episodes, so Gengar needs all the time it can get to shine. I'd rather they don’t let a main character continuously interrupt the only episode focus of arguably the most shafted Pokémon on the main cast.

I hope he doesn't. Sorry but seeing another one of my favorite galar Pokemon being caught by Goh is more of a negative for me since it will either be a recurring Pokemon that shows up once in a blue moon or a lab background extra.
Seems to be a 49/49/2 odds. 49% for Goh catching Drakloak as yet another trophy Pokémon who's quickly forgotten by the writers. 49% that Drakloak simply finds a Dreepy companion and is uncaught. 2% that a third option happens.

Agreed. We seriously don’t need a pseudo legendary being wasted just rotting away doing nothing under Go’s ownership. Journeys has shown their strength with the likes of Dragonite, Garchomp and Kommo-o. Go would do nothing of relevance with it.
