S25: Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series - Dub Title Thread

There's been quite a few episodes of Pokémon that have aired on my birthday, but as a huge Misty fan, JN138 premiering on my birthday is easily my all time favorite! I thought there'd be a break between the finale of Journeys and what we knew as Aim to be a Pokémon Master, so this is a very pleasant surprise.

I cannot wait to watch the dubbed episode for the first time while I celebrate :bulbaLove:

Sarah Natochenny has just confirmed that the third batch of Ultimate Journeys will arrive to Netflix on June 23rd.

With this batch focusing on the rest of the Masters Eight tournament, it's quite likely we'll be getting a fourth for the 11 episode special and The Distant Blue Sky since they're still recording (or I assume they still are anyway).

I'm not sure how much the show normally trend, but I think that I usually see it doing pretty well among kid shows the week new episodes drop. The only other streaming service I could see picking up the anime would be maybe Hulu.

Despite the issues with the Netflix release model, I imagine that they'll still air the Horizons dub. If they're willing to make their own Pokemon series with Pokemon Concierge, I don't think that Netflix will skip on airing the next series either. I still think that if they had remained consistent with the release schedule after the first season of Journeys, people would probably be okay with Netflix releasing the series. Ideally, they can be more consistent with Horizons or maybe start to have weekly releases too. A lot of other streaming services have weekly premieres for their shows instead and I've seen more frustration over the binge release format for Netflix over the years, so maybe they'll make some changes with how they release their shows.
 
So, this should be the first time that a dub season had a different opening theme since Season 6 (if we go by TV/production order).

Pokémon Theme that mainly uses archival audio from the cover used in Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You.

I had a feeling they'd do something like that. While With You isn't a bad song, I think it wouldn't have worked for the MPM mini series. Even though it's too bad that they're using archival audio instead of something new, I don't really mind it too much when the cover from I Choose You is probably my favorite version of the classic opening. Hearing the song with those clips for this mini series did make me cry too, especially when I assume that they're at least close to being done recording the remaining episodes with Ash.
