Yep. It's unbelievable that Deakins has never won right? But Innaritu's to-go cinematographer is not nominated this year so he has a good shot. Although I have to say Darkest Hour's cinematography was pretty good too and Hoyte van Hoytema for Dunkirk is amazing! He should win sometime too, but he's still young. Deakins has to win.
I'm sure they will include Cathy and Johansson in the In Memoriam segment at the Oscars.

Redmayne was amazing, the way he portrayed the detoriation of Hawking was a massive feat of acting.
