The fifteenth anniversary of the Pokémon franchise will be celebrated at the next World Championships event to be held in San Diego in 2011.

Wasn't it here for the 2009 championship...?

I's been in Hawaii before, as well. In 2007, I believe. In a way that's a much better location... a more exotic locale, and more of a midpoint between North America and Japan. It's probably also a much more exciting place for paricipants to visit.

However, at least San Diego guarantees the WORLD11 giveaway will be easier to obtain.

It was there for both 2005 and 2009.

Anyways I actually might go next year then since it's so close for me.
