It's the episode "Like it, or Lup it"/"Pochama Tries It's Hardest!!!" where Team Rocket attempts to steal the pile of berries from a group of wild Pokemon.
My memory is kinda foggy but the supposedly-suggestive line I heard is at the point when James had sent out his Carnivine after revealing their disguises to the "twerps" in the dub, only. (as I know, never seen the original version of this episode)
Again I don't remember, but the line James said went something like this:
"Stop biting on me Carnivine, I'm not a piece of fruit!...no matter what anyone says!"
I remember James saying it like it was meant to be funny, and I didn't get the joke. And then thinking about it again, it hit me.
The word fruit, was sometimes used as a term referring to homosexual males a long time ago. It's not used as much anymore.
So basically what he is saying would be that he's not gay, and the "no matter what anyone says" part could be referring to the fandom or people viewing his slightly effeminate personality.
Of course, the usual younger views will not get this.
Now am I looking TOO deep into this? Or is my mind really that corrupted and disturbed? And to keep the topic going, do you think you have heard other suggestive lines in the dub?
