About "Did you know..."

Yeah, but sometimes there are features that are restricted.

Like the main page and articles with controversy.
 
To my knowledge, the only pages that are protected on Bulbapedia are the main page, and some templates such as stub and delete. But to answer your question, yes, anybody can edit the "Did You Know...?" portion of the home page. In fact, looking through the edit history, I can count seven people who have edited the page that do not have sysop powers.

OMFG...

This morning there were some new sentences, and now there are gone, and there are new ones...
 
They really need to start a full "Did you know" page and add bits to that, so people don't miss any.
