Hey all! Welcome to the Celadon Trainer Meet RP Sign-Up thread, to join, all you have to do is read these rules and fill out this form:

Rules
1. Please abide by the forum rules at all times; you may not have read the disclaimer during registration - but you do have to adhere to it. You all know that violation of these rules will result in Admin intervention anyway.

2. No talking Pokémon. This is your bog standard RPG, no magical talking Raticates with the ability to fly or anything out of the ordinary like that.

3. If you must have a Legendary Pokémon, please don't have six, and please don't use them for the sole purpose of destroying other players in battle or obliterating NPCs. You can't kill or permanently maim another player or player's Pokémon without prior consent and mutual agreement; to do so is just plain unfair.

4. If another player does something you don't approve of with your character without permission, please either take it up in private with them, or discuss it politely in the thread at the beginning of your post by marking that you are speaking "OoC" (Out of Character), as bickering is pointless.

5. Most importantly of the five rules, please enjoy this RP - take your characters deeper than you ever have, get involved and journey with Elliot and whoever he's with. That's the whole idea.

Now, the application form...

Character Name:
Character Age:
Occupation/Status: You can have any job, you don't even need to be a trainer.
Pokémon on Hand (if any): Any Pokémon of any type and any number, obviously six legendaries is not allowed. Describe your on-hand team a little; how did your trainer meet them? What are their personalities?
Personality: How your character behaves and what he/she is like.
History: A little background information about your character - how did they end up in Celadon City, or is your character a native out for his/her first Pokémon?
Intentions at the Trainer Meet (if any): Why your character is there, and what he/she hopes to accomplish. What will your trainer do afterwards?

Note: If the character you choose to play as has arrived at the Meet to get his/her first Pokémon, Professors Oak and Elm are giving out Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Totodile as well as other assorted Pokémon (you decide which one you want to start with) to new trainers in a large tent at the south-western corner of the City Square.

Once you've done that, click the URL below to join the fun and start posting!

If you'd rather an "authentic" example, here's my character, the main protagonist from a series of short stories I write called Children of Hoenn:
Character Name: Elliot Demakes
Character Age: 18
Occupation/Status: Roaming Pokémon Trainer
Pokémon on Hand:
Sceptile (Male)
Elliot's first Pokémon, and his best friend. Though occasionally suspicious of other humans intentions towards his trainer, Sceptile is generally accepting and friendly towards most humans and other Pokémon. He and Elliot often make fun of each other, though they are both only having fun and are well aware of the love they feel towards each other. Having been together through some traumatic and dangerous times the bond Elliot and Sceptile share is unbreakable, and they would give their lives for each other. Sceptile is protective of Elliot, and is a powerful battler. Using his signature Leaf Blade attack to perfection. When there's no type disadvantage, it's Leaf Blade is so powerful, it can often end a battle without having to use any of it's other moves: Quick Attack, Slash, Cut, Solarbeam, Return and Earthquake. It is rumoured around Littleroot Town that - due to it's extreme power - Elliot will only have his Sceptile use Solarbeam under extreme circumstances.

Crobat (Male)
The first Pokémon Elliot caught on his own after leaving Littleroot town. While still a Zubat, he would rarely leave his trainer's side. Even in daylight, which Zubat notoriously dislike. This bond caused him to evolve quickly from Golbat to Crobat. This quick evolution and unconditional love of his trainer made Crobat a permanent member of Elliot's team. Crobat knows the following moves: Poison Fang, Arial Ace, Fly, Shadow Ball, Return, Toxic, Crunch and Confuse Ray.

Crobat is very loyal, and acts as a bodyguard when out of his pokéball; flying along next to his trainer or scouting ahead. When Elliot is on the road, Crobat - being nocturnal - stands guard while he sleeps.

Snorlax (Male)
Raised from an egg given to him by the daycare of the Sevii Islands, this Pokémon is one of the most vigorously trained Pokémon Elliot owns. Training for a full 18 months on mainland Kanto and the Sevii Islands before evolving into a Snorlax. Now the main physical powerhouse of Elliot's team. His enourmous appetite is the main reason for Elliot going to the Celadon Meet. Snorlax prefers to walk alongside his trainer, which is considered odd for the stereotypically lazy species. Although he does have his lazy moments, this Snorlax is particularly energetic. He has the following moves: Mega Punch, Surf, Return, Earthquake, Body Slam, Rest, Fire Punch, Hyper Beam, Strength, Snore and Yawn.

Snorlax is overly friendly and curious, often prone to wandering off to look at something that caught his eye, or to find something worthy of his mighty appetite to devour. Snorlax loves social interaction and is very warm-hearted and open to new people and Pokémon. Often, on the road, Snorlax serves as a comfy bed for Elliot while Crobat faithfully stands guard.

Personality: With an infectious thirst for Pokémon knowledge, and a friendly and easy going attitude, Elliot is likeable and his enthusiasm for the world and exploration can be contagious. He loves to meet new trainers and their Pokémon, as he enjoys seeing the bonds they share. He has his dark side, and can be caught brooding on occasion. He shares an unbreakable bond with his on-hand Pokémon Sceptile, his starter, and his beloved Crobat; the first Pokémon he caught after leaving home. As well as his Snorlax, which he raised from an egg. Their loyalty to him is as ferocious as his love of knowledge and adventure. Elliot Demakes also has one strange trait. A trait Pokémon Professors have begun calling "Natural Affinity." Elliot's natural affinity was towards Pokémon of the grass type; they often obeyed and trusted him without question, and he is able to soothe and befriend any grass type. He has also displayed this ability (although to a much lesser extent) with bug type Pokémon.

History: Born and raised in Littleroot Town, in the Hoenn region, Elliot was a child prodigy - excelling in school, quickly becoming interested in biology - as well as having a special interest in Grass and Bug type Pokémon. He left his hometown and childhood behind at the age of 14, older than most beginning trainers, as he had opted to stay at home with his mother, in order to help her nurse her sick Bayleef back to health. Taking the Treecko awarded to him by Professor Birch for saving him from a Mightyena and it's Poochyena pups and taking the Hoenn Pokémon League challenge. He quickly rose up the ranks, earning all eight badges with his most trusted Pokémon - Sceptile, Crobat, Magneton, Wailord, Torkoal and Flygon. After a crushing defeat at the hands of the Dragon trainer, Drake, Elliot put his League ambitions on hold in order to travel more and train his Pokémon. Leaving most of his Pokémon in Littleroot with his mother and Professor Birch, Elliot took Sceptile and Crobat, departing for the Kanto region. While exploring the Sevii Isles, he was given a Pokémon Egg by the daycare lady of the islands. After careful raising, the egg hatched into a Munchlax - which Elliot trained vigorously for over a year, taking him around Kanto and Johto. Having now been a Snorlax for six months, his appetite was beginning to take it's toll on Elliot's wallet. Having heard of the Celadon Meet from the locals of Lavender Town, Elliot, now 18 years old, made his way to the city to earn some cash. He was never expected to get as far as he has, assumed to fail before his third badge and return home to his mother and her Bayleef, whom he had a strange attachment to.

Intentions at the Meet: To enter the tournament and earn some cash to feed his Snorlax, as well as visiting Celadon Gym with his Sceptile.

Wow, sorry that got a little long-winded. Congratulations if you read it all. Just post the form, it doesn't have to be anywhere near that long, and I'll accept you to join.

Thanks,
Kipper

PS. While I came up with the basic idea for this RP, it was initially inspired by the brilliant RP of both Persian and Carrie Slovak over at Pokécharms. It was their great story development that helped me take the Elliot Demakes character and my own writing to a whole new level. And while I doubt they'll ever read this; thank you both very much for the inspiration and for giving me the courage to start my own thread.

Character Name: Nathan Galacian
Character Age: 18
Occupation/Status: Pokemon Researcher
Pokémon on Hand:
Wigglytuff
Nathan never actually started off with a Pokemon, but rather with an egg he obtained during his research into the mysterious breeding of Pokemon. He was especially thrilled to find this egg to contain an Igglybuff, since their relation to Moon Stones is a mystery of the Pokemon world. He's been raising it since birth, even halting his other research on occasion to perform tasks to aid its progress (including battling, TM shopping, and even seeking out a Moon Stone for its evolution). This nurturing has manifested itself; Wigglytuff is startlingly huge, a full foot and a half taller than Nathan and towering over its kind. Wigglytuff is a complete goof off the battlefield, taking nothing seriously at all. Still, it cares enough for Nathan that it obeys any order without question. It's Nathan's secret weapon, armed with moves to fight any foe. The moves Wigglytuff uses are: Solarbeam, Sing, Dream Eater, Fire Punch, Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Perish Song

Muk
Muk was evolved from a Grimer that Nathan found underneath his sink one day; thank goodness it didn't try to poison him. The fact that something could live with no solid body and still be sentinent was a source of fascination to Nathan, and he kept Grimer close to him at all times for observation. Its evolution caught him off guard, mostly because it did so while sitting on his lap (Nathan needed a shower or three after that). It's proven itself to be very grateful to Nathan for taking him in, and is the most affectionate of his team, spending much of its out-of-Pokeball time smothering its trainer. Moves for Muk are: Acid Armor, Toxic, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Punch, Explosion, Body Slam, Disable

Nidoking
Nidoking is Nathan's favorite Pokemon for battles, and for more reasons than the obvious. Besides being incredibly strong, Nathan's Nidoking is red instead of purple. Now for any trainer that's rare, but when you're a researcher and you come across a red male Nidoran it makes you the happiest man alive. Needless to say Nathan captured the Nidoran, raising it through all of its stages (meaning he had to find ANOTHER Moon Stone) to study the reasons its color might be different. Thus far, he has found no abnormality in its abilities, neither in or against Nidoking's favor. Nidoking thinks rather highly of itself, and fights any foe it is sent against with its very pride on the line. Oddly enough, Nathan doesn't do much fighting; this makes every battle that much more precious to Nidoking. Nidoking's moves are: Megahorn, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Surf, Horn Drill, Double Kick, and Amnesia

Noctowl
Of Nathan's available Pokemon, Noctowl is the one least suited for combat. Noctowl acts as Nathan's personal assistant, a gift from his father just before he left to broaden his research. It is inherently a coward, and is the only Pokemon that Nathan has ever seen return itself to its own Pokeball to avoid a fight. Still, Noctowl has its usefulness in scouting and gathering information. Nathan avoids letting it fight, as it's obviously traumatized by it. Still, it has no problem with watching the fights and gaining information for Nathan to use. Its moves are: Fly, Reflect, Foresight, Double Team, Substitute, Mimic, Endure, and Featherdance.

Egg
A gift for Nathan's eighteenth birthday from his family. It is supposedly due to hatch soon, though what exactly is inside...well, he'd have to wait and see. It's not terribly big, and fits nicely into an extra pouch in his backpack.

Personality: Nathan, for the most part, is entirely calm and collected. His disposition is entirely casual, and he rarely breaks a sweat regardless of the situation. When faced with something new, fascinating, or revolutionary to Pokemon, however, he becomes the equivalent of a babbling squealing fangirl, unable to contain himself. It's something of an embarrassment to be near him at this point, but he is entirely oblivious to this change in his attitude. He's been known to ask random women to marry him on occasion purely for flaunting some impressive level of intelligence on Pokemon, but thankfully has had no takers thus far.

History: Nathan is the son of the owner of the Pewter City Museum, living in that city until the day after he turned sixteen. By then he had sucked up all of the information from the Museum and its resources, and found that his lust for new knowledge was unquenched, and the three Pokemon that he'd obtained were fully evolved. He was given his Noctowl at this point, and with complete eagerness he set out to learn everything there was to know about Pokemon. For two years he navigated all of Kanto, on the road for most of the time to gain information from all over the region (He made a point of meeting with each Gym Leader in the process, as they were excelllent examples of how to train a Pokemon. Well, all but Giovanni, who was still MIA). After stopping home for his eighteenth birthday (when he received his Pokemon egg) his father tipped him off to the Celadon Meet. A gathering of that many people would certainly yield some fascinating discoveries; and so he found himself en route for Celadon City.

Intentions at the Trainer Meet: Learning anything he can to add to his already impressive mental library. Plans to stop by and see Erika to apologize for asking her hand in marriage last time he came by (As previously stated, it's not an uncommon slip for him).

Character Name: John Oak
Character Age: 13
Occupation/Status: Trainer/ Corrdinator
Pokemon on hand:
Gallade: received as a starter from Pro. Oak because he was the last one to come. John glad to have had received a pokemon started to train his ralt. After getting the Pewter badge, ralts evolved to kirlia. Then after getting his third badge, kirlia evolved to Gallade. Gallade is a loyal and fierce pokemon. He has made a strong bond with John. He will even protect John from any danger even if there is a chance for Gallade to die. Also John's favorite pokemon to use in battles.Moves that Gallade uses: Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Psycho cut, Slash, and Confusion

Gardevoir: captured as a gardevoir. Gardevoir got captured because she felled in love with Gallade. Gardevoir is often seen using moves to defend Gallade even if Gallade is not in danger. Gardevoir is often seen being used in contests.Moves that Gardevoir uses: Confusion, Wish, Magical leaf, Psychic, Captivate, and Calm mind.

Honchkrow: captured as a murkrow. At first Murkrow didnt obeyed John, but after saving murkrow from team rocket, Murkrow decided that John was going to be a good trainer for him. Recently evolved to a Honchkrow after accidently touching a Dusk stone. John often uses Honchkrow for a sense of direction but Honchkrow never cares. Moves that Honchkrow uses: Night Slash, Dark Pluse, Nasty Plot, Wing attack, and Drill attack

Two eggs: One received from Nurse Joy for helping and one from Officer Jenny for helping. Both eggs are going to hatch soon.

Personality: John for some reason loves to be outside( espically at night). John is kind and fair. He never mistreats his pokemon. He also loves to help people in need. John's favorite pokemon seems to be of the psychic, ghost, and dark type. John however is also very competitive and never backs down from a challenge. (only if his pokemon is too tired) He is also very strong, and wants to train his pokemon as strong as well. But he can be very lazy at times.

History: Born in Sandgem town. He was brought over to pallet town because John had a hard time breathing there. As a baby he was taken care of by his mom (his dad had died a few years before he was born)and by his aunt, Daisy Oak. Even though he should of started in the kanto region, John decided to start in the Sinnoh region. After getting some badges and ribbons, John decided to go back to pallet town. Then he caught his second pokemon murkrow. After getting the pewter badge, John started toward Mt. Moon. In the mountain, John found many moon stones. He even found a dusk stone. After murkrow ran off exploring, John found murkrow as a honchkrow. Then he went on getting two badges, catching a gardevoir, helped a Nurse Joy get medicine for the pokemon, and helping Officer Jenny capturing a crook.

Intentions at Trainer Meet: Getting his pokemon stronger, and win the competition

Tatch and someonerando, you are both accepted to the CTM Role Play Thread; please begin posting whenever you have the time.

Kipper

Character Name: Beka Longshadow
Character Age: 15
Occupation/Status: Nomad
Pokemon On Hand:

Feraligatr (Male):
Beka's starter pokemon. Professor Elm gave it to him on his 10th birthday, and they instantly formed a bond. Feraligatr is one of Beka's most-used pokemon, and you will often find them training together with his other pokemon. Feraligatr will listen to Beka regardless of what others say, and would blindly follow him to the end. Moves: Ice Beam, Agility, Crunch, Iron Tail, Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Focus Blast, Shadow Claw, Double Team, Dragon Pulse

Arcanine (Male):
Arcanine was found as a Growlithe, wandering around in the snow atop the mountains. It was injured and weak, and was close to fainting. Beka captured it, and raced down the mountains to save it. Then, one day, wandering around the underground, Beka found a fire stone, and Growlithe evolved into Arcanine. He is very courageous, but dosen't know when to quit. Moves: Extremespeed, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Will-o-wisp, Flamethrower, Dig, Dragon Pulse, Safeguard, Body Slam

Shedinja (Genderless):
Shedinja was traded to him by a trainer who desperately wanted a gloom, a pokemon that Beka just happened to have caught that very afternoon. Shedinja does not trust Beka very much, for he and the pokemon haven't been together long enough to form a very strong bond. Moves: Mind Reader, Shadow Ball, Silver Wind, Shadow Claw, Giga Drain, Confuse Ray, Double Team, Faint Attack, Night Slash

Flygon (Female):
Flygon was the first pokemon that Beka caught. He found it as a Trapinch, making potholes in the road and causing trouble for a nearby town. He captured it with his Feraligator, then a Croconaw, and it soon became a vital part of his team. Flygon is a powerhouse that is not to be handled lightly. She also seems to have a sort of crush on his Feraligatr. Moves: Dragon Claw, Draco Meteor, Solar Beam, Steel Wing, Roost, Stone Edge, Quick Attack, Flame Thrower, Sunny Day

Personality:
Beka loves to wander, and feels more at home on the road then he did in his hometown. He never stays at pokemon centers, and only stops there for healing and food. He is fiercely loyal to friends, of which he has few. You will often see him lost deep in thought, sitting in the grass and staring at the sky. Beka is cool and level headed, but you will not often see it in him, as he tends to distance himself from others, except those like him. He has a thirst for knowledge, and can often be found studying a pokemon in the wild, hunting them out for a particular move or a certain nature, just to observe.

History:
Beka was born to a couple who traveled around Jhoto, camping instead of settling down. At the age of 10, he decided to travel to get his starter pokemon, and began a traveling life of his own. People would occassionally hear of him, a badge here, a ribbon there. But he really made a name for himself when he bested the Orange Islands Champion. Since then, he has simply dropped off the radar. But, against his better judgement, he has come to the Celadon Trainer Meet.

Reasons for coming to the Trainer Meet: To have somewhere to go, and to learn new things that could help him on his travels.

Wow, great character profile betagold; welcome aboard! =)

It seems Beka and Elliot may have a few things in common.

Hey. :) Sorry for not replying to your e-mail, but my e-mail account's been screwy for the last few weeks. I've only just got it.

Anyhow, I'm glad you gave me the link. It looks like this RP will be fun. Here's my character:

Character Name: Carrie Slovak
Character Age: 18
Occupation/Status: Trainer

Pokemon on Hand:

Jolteon (Male):
Fiercely protective, he's very loyal and is willing to do anything to protect those around him. He especially has a tendency to protect Pokemon much younger and weaker than him. Many suspect him to have a romantic interest in Raichu, though no evidence or proof has ever been found. He is unanimously acknowledged as the leader of the team. He's fast and sure-footed, preferring to use raw tactics and devastating strategy in battle rather than brute strength and type advantage.

Raichu (Female):
Every inch the over-bearing mother. She has a daughter (a Pikachu named Pearl whose identifying trait is a red bow around her neck), and is maddenly protective. She also loves to cook, and can be frequently found in the kitchen wearing an apron with a pair of sunglasses on. Her specialty is Chinese dishes. She was Carrie's official 'first' Pokemon, though she had found Eevee first. Some suspect her to have a romantic interest in Jolteon, though no evidence has been found. She is considered the second-in-command to Jolteon. In her spare time you can catch her attempting to screech out a tune on Carrie's PokeFlute. In battle she uses an equal blend of special and physical attacks, often foregoing defense in order to get the job done quickly. Her favorite moves and Body Slam, Iron Tail and Thunder punch.

Mischief (Misdreavus, Male):
Mischief is, as his name implies, mischievous. He loves to cause trouble, and he especially loves to play pranks on young ladies with beautiful red hair (the reason is unknown and unwanted). He gets along fairly well with the others, although he and Jolteon share a slight coolness towards each other. He adores croissants loaded with butter. The reason remains unclear.

Lapras (Male):
A very gentle soul, Lapras hates to fight, and tries his hardest to stay out of the fray. He much prefers acting as transport across bodies of water, whether large or small. He loves Raichu's cooking, though it gives him indigestion. He enjoys classical music and hot springs. He relies almost exclusively on defense in battle, using Sing and Mist often. When in desperate situations he'll let loose an Aurora Beam or Hydro Pump, but only when he desperately needs a victory. His most noted offensive move is Ice Beam.

Charles (Charizard, Male):
Despite his fiery temper he's a rather kindly individual, preferring to sleep than to pick fights, though he loves battling. He won't eat any of Raichu's cooking unless it's spicy, and only then when it is loaded liberally with hot sauce.

Espeon (Male):
Despite the idea that Psychic Pokemon are normally even-tempered, this Pokemon has some serious issues. He's constantly picking fights with his 'surrogate' father, Jolteon, and likes to rebel. He refused to fight in two-on-two battles, prefering to fight alone. He gets along well with Mischief and Charles. He is marked with a rather vicious personality, and dislikes friendly overtures with others.

Personality: Carrie is generally a nice person, but she has a quick temper when you provoke her. There are certain topics she can't stand, and she let's that be known. She loves a good laugh, and can't cook to save her life, despite the fact that she enjoys all foods. Carrie is a thrill-seeker, so if there's something dangerous nearby, don't let her get involved in it.
History: Born in Pallet town, she grew up normally with her mother, father and older brother until she was six, and he started off on his Pokemon journey. Over the next four years news reached their household of his many accomplishments, and Carrie, seeking to match him in everything, couldn't wait until she was of age to start training. When she did turn 10 she set off with her Pikachu and her Eevee; until she was fourteen she travelled and trained, and after those four years she finally had enough confidence to enter the League. There she encountered her brother, and in a fierce fight between them--resulting in several scars for her Jolteon--she managed to narrowly defeat him. He backed out of the fight, and though she didn't win the League, she returned home happily. Her happiness was spoiled, however, when Professor Oak told her of her brother's travels to Hoenn. Not willing to let him outshine her again, she went in search of him; passing through Johto and Hoenn. She never found him, though she earned her badges and took part in the Hoenn League.
Intentions at the Trainer Meet (if any): Meeting new people.

Hope that'll be good enough.

Character Name:patrick Tan
Character Age:11
Occupation/Status: Trainer

Pokemon on hand:

Blastoise(Male)

Patrick's starter pokemon. Believing defense is the best offense, Blastoise knows a variety of defensive moves and a few powerful moves as well. Blastoise usually has a happy disposition but he can be very scary if he's mad. Blastoise knows the following moves: Protect, Mirror Coat, Mist, Aqua Ring, Withdraw, Rapid Spin, Skull Bash, Hydro Pump, Dig, and Water Pulse.

Slowbro(Male)

Although it is dull witted and lazy, it's smart enough to be greedy and will only battle if there's food involved in the end. He has great defensive capabilities and serves as a "tank" in Patrick's team. Slowbro knows the following moves: Curse, Yawn, Disable, Slack off, Psych up, Substitute, Trick Room, Light Screen, Psychic, Water Pulse, Iron Tail, Zen Headbutt, Amnesia, Dig, and Protect.

Omastar (Male)

Omastar still isn't used to its surroundings but completely trusts Patrick. Omastar knows the following moves: Spike Cannon, Brine, Tickle, Protect, Ancientpower, Mud shot, Water Gun, Rollout, Withdraw, and Ice Beam.

Pelipper (Female)

Patrick caught Pelipper (who was a wingull at the time) on the same beach he found his Omastar (who was still a helix fossil). After extensive training, she finally evolved into a Pelipper. Since it evolved Pelipper has become very protective of Patrick and won't let anyone near him unless he says it's okay. Pelipper knows the following moves: Tailwind, Wing Attack, Twister, Water Pulse, Supersonic, Mist, Protect, Roost, U-Turn, Pluck, Substitute, Double Team, and Defog.

Quagsire (Female)

Patrick's Quagsire is very curious, and often gets in trouble for it. She also has a very large appetite and often takes food from surprised picnickers. Patrick has yet to teach Quagsire the concept of "stealing". Quagsire knows the following moves: Earthquake, Yawn, Amnesia, Counter, Slam, Mud Bomb, Mud Shot, Mist, Haze, Muddy Water, Protect, Strength, and Encore.

Politoed (Male)

Politoed is a happy-go-lucky pokemon and would rather cheer on his teammates than actually battle himself. Besides cheering, Politoed likes to flirt with other pokemon, making him oblivious to everything but the target of his affection. Politoed knows the following moves: Swagger, Bounce, Brick Break, Double Team, Facade, Hypnosis, Substitute, Focus Punch, Protect, Psychic, Rock Smash, and Water Pulse.

Personality: Patrick is naive and believes everything that he's told. He is full of energy and enjoys Pokemon battles more than anybody.Even though his team is made up of water types, Patrick dislikes being in the water with a passion.

History: Patrick left his hometown of Pallet Town at the age of ten to begin his pokemon journey. After having his first loss at the Vermillion City Gym, he took a stroll along the beach to overcome his depression. There he caught his Wingull and found a Helix Fossil. After hearing rumours that the scientists in Cinnabar Island could revive pokemon from fossils, Patrick quickly took a boat ride there. Happy to learn that the rumours were true, Patrick had the scientists revive an Omanyte from the fossil. He then spent a few months training on Cinnabar Island and challenged the gym there and won. With his confidence renewed, Patrick sailed to Vermillion City and won his gym match there too. After a week of traveling, Patrick finally made it to Celadon City. After hearing about the Celadon Trainer Meet, Patrick decided to participate in it.

Intentions at the trainer meet: to improve his skills as a pokemon trainer as well as challenging the Celadon City Gym.

Character Name: Eric Daimon
Character Age: 16
Occupation/Status: Trainer
Pokémon on Hand (if any): All of his Pokemon are male, and were stolen from Team Rocket, and already are very happy with their trainer.

His Rhyperior was stolen from Giovanni himself. Rhyperior is very powerful, and likes to show off, and can sometimes be a little lazy.

His Sceptile was stolen from a Rocket admin. Sceptile is very energetic and graceful.

His Donphan was stolen from a Rocket executive. Donphan has an even worse temper than his trainer.

His Kingdra was stolen from the head of the scientists working for Team Rocket. Kingdra is very relaxed, maybe even too relaxed.

His Crobat was stolen from a Rocket Grunt. Crobat is the comic relief of Eric's roster, and is usually very happy.

His Gyarados was stolen by a lowly scientist working for Team Rocket. Gyarados is selfish and thinks too much of himself.

Personality: Hot tempered and impatient, yet he is a great person if you get to know him, especially if you're a girl.
History: His village was obliterated by Team Rocket one year ago, and recently, his girlfriend Peggy Nohrstein, the only other survivor from the attack, was recently murdered by Team Rocket. Eric would've been long dead if it weren't for Mewtwo, who saved his life. Eric wants to avenge his people, eliminate Team Rocket, and kill Giovanni, their infamous leader.
Intentions at the Trainer Meet (if any): To eliminate Team Rocket

Character Name:Noah Gibbs
Character Age:13
Occupation/Status:Trainer/Coordinater.
Pokémon on Hand:
Pecko (Combustken, Male)
Noah's starter pokemon and closest to him. Pecko is very friendly until it comes time to battle he will engulf his best friend in a fire spin if that is what it takes to win. Obviously very competetive he will stop at nothing to take home that prize. He has never wanted to evolve and Noah is alright with that. He thinks Pecko's claws are more hazardous than Blaziken's fists.
Attacks:Fire Spin, Metal Claw, Solar Beam, Sky Uppercut, Peck, Overheat, Mega Kick. (May learn more while there)
Vine (Grovyle, Male)
His best friend is Pecko and they are the ultimate double's partners. He has the wierdest moveset of anyone on Noah's team. He uses these odd moves to surprise his opponents. Noah caught him in Petalburg Woods and he was Noah's second pokemon. He gets very angry quickly and his biggest weakness is that he can get unfocused really easily.
Attacks: Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Leaf Blade, Petal Dance,Focus Punch, Double Team, Dig, Bullet Seed.
Majestic (Swellow, Female)
Noah's third pokemon and his fastest. He also flies on Majestic everywhere. Majestic is very mild and doesn't get happy or excited almost ever. She has incredible stamina and is great at dodging and then going in for the kill.
Attacks: Extreme Speed, Double Team, Fly, WIng Attack, Steel WIng, Peck, Hyper Beam, Feather Dance, Roost, Shadow Ball.
Frozo (Glalie, Male)
Can be rather moody and when he gets mad at Noah he refuses to battle for days at a time. Luckily, this has been happening less and less. They have quite a strong bond and he has another wierd moveset. He loves battling ghost pokemon because he has a secret strategy to win every time.
Attacks: Headbutt, Sheercold, Reflect, Light Screen, Confusion, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Bubblebeam, Mud shot.
Personality: Noah is ussualy very lighthearted around friends but can be sort of cold and quiet around strangers. He just loves to make his pokemon look good at all times and has them use wierd strategies and moves. He loves double battles because they are completely about strategy.
History: Born in Pewter City Noah was good friends with Brock, Soledad, and his sister Rose. They hung out in the Pewter city gym where his father worked with Brock's to run the rock/steel gym. When Noah turned 10 his parents moved to Slateport city where his father ran his own steel gym. Noah lived in Slateport for very little time because he set out through Hoenn right after then. His sister is three years older than him and has won the Hoenn and Johto league competition. He cannot wait untill the day he can beat her.
Intentions at the Trainer Meet (if any): To win the tournament with elegance.
