Change in Pokemon - Good or Bad?

Thanks to Dexit, this comment aged rather poorly.

Forcing players to learn competitive strategies is a bad idea because not everyone wants to play competitively.
I’m not saying that the should try to force the competitive scene on to players. What I’m saying that GF should try to encourage complex strategies via the use of of things like all the item choices, EVs, and IVs, so they can have an actual use for all the the potential you have from these combinations than just shoving them post game just for battle facilities.

Megas, Z-moves, dynamax/g-max are good like new pokemon, new moves and new abilities but hope they hear fan wishesh more before creating. Especially type changes and abilities.

I think they are going back in a good direction with gyms back on track.
Hope they use also what we alredy got in Future.
