I think this is the right place to ask, but if it's not feel free to move it to a better place.

Does somebody know good dream-like songs, to relax and think for a while? Can be any genre. If you don't know what kind of feeling I'm talking about, think of something similar to these songs:

Coldplay - Orphans
Vampire Weekend - Harmony Hall
The B.O.L.T. - Genius (This one is pretty obscure, but whatever...)
Slightly Stoopid - Closer to the Sun
Filter - Take a Picture
Super Mario 64 - Dire Dire Docks

Based off of what you posted, we probably don't have the same ideal, but I'll still post. Certainly the very first thing that comes to mind when someone says dream-like music is French Impressionism. Especially this piece:

Maybe some Renaissance choral music, as well (although maybe not as specifically dream-like as the above):

When hearing that music, I can understand how a layperson could walk into a Catholic service and be so overwhelmed by this music and think that only God could have been behind it. Glad I'm from a later time where I can learn the theory behind it, but I still find the music to be quite an experience.

I suppose they're more on the moody and ambient side but to me, dreamy music would be along the lines of Teeth of the Sea's Her Wraith and Our Love Can Destroy This Whole Fucking World. I love going to sleep to those.

This is a nice one actually. While not fitting with what I posted this is the kind of feeling I'm looking for. Thanks!

Same here.

Not exactly. While not bad, these don't really are what I'm looking for. On the plus side, I got relief that these were not death metal songs even if the album covers and titles kinda look like they would be.
