EV Training with Vitamins

Alright, while I'm training my Porygon Z for Speed and SA EVs, I decided to waste a lot of money on vitamins, to speed the whole process up. Porygon Z was holding a Macho Brace, and had 8 SA vitamins (he wouldn't have any more) and 10 Speed vitamins. Now, next level up, it looks like he hasn't grown one bit in both of those stats?

Two questions.

1. How come the growths were still the same? Shouldn't it be about 25 in each stat?

2. Does the Macho Brace double vitamin EVs?

I'm wondering if I screwed my Pory Z up.
 
1. You expected to see +25 on level up? It's spread out, and you won't see the full effectiveness until level 100.

2. Not sure, but probably not.

Meh, I was just a bit worried. Anyway, thanks! Glad to know I didn't mess it up.
