Forums Changelog (Updated November 3rd)

Hey, guys. In the interest of transparency and keeping everyone on the same page, this is where the Bulbagarden forums staff will keep you all updated on forum changes regarding:

- New sections/subsections + deleted sections/subsections
- Bug fixes and maintenance updates
- XenForo updates

Staff changes will be posted in the staff chart thread, minor changes to the forum-wide rules will be posted in the rules thread, and skin changes will be posted in the styles thread.

Forum-wide and section-specific events will be announced here in separate threads, as well as some public Discord changes, staff drives, major policy changes, and major site-wide announcements.

While this thread will be locked for easy navigation, you can shoot any Admin, SMod, or Mod a PM if you have any questions!

In case these changes haven't been noticed already...

- The Let's Go, Pikachu / Eevee current event forum has gone live for everyone to talk about the upcoming games
- The Bulbasocial forum has gone live for everyone to stay updated on Bulbagarden's social media projects, ask questions about them, and offer suggestions to the social media staff
- We added a user profile field for users to enter their Nintendo Switch friend codes

- We added user profile fields for Favorite Pokémon for all 7 generations, as well as Mega Evolutions and Alolan Forms. The one used until now was deleted, as it had an excessive amount of options.

The following subforums were merged with their parent subforums and archived:
-Shops and Giveaways (merged with Bulbagarden GTS)
-The Contest Hall (merged with General)
-Art Shops (merged with Art Gallery)
-Character and Saga Discussions (merged with Anime and Manga)
The old Character and Saga Discussions is now an archive.

- We have added a profile field for Pokemon GO Trainer Codes.

All posts in the Fun & Games section now count toward your total post count!

Also, new members can now change their usernames after 90 days if they have 75 posts, instead of the previous 182 day and 150 post limit.

The Gender profile option now has more options, which should allow more users to pick the option that suits them!
