Long-time Pokémon fan here (see not-quite-genwunner.)

I'm just a little bit behind. I bought Sun and Moon back when they first came out on launch day and got Ultra Sun and Moon this past Christmas, but I haven't played the latter yet because I haven't finished Sun and Moon.

So far, I've completed two island trials, so I'm just at the beginning of the game. My Pokémon seem to be leveling up quickly though! Is that normal?

Either way, I hope to find an active community here as I'm currently unemployed for the summer and taking care of my father post triple bypass surgery.

Hello!

In any Gen 6 or 7 games, the Exp. Share being switched on generally makes the whole party level up VERY fast compared to earlier games. Sun/Moon toned it down a bit though, as far as I can tell.
