This came to a head in the uprisings a few years back, when they attempted to awaken the titans that were Groudon and Kyrogre. Since then, Maxie has become a cold, calculating person, taking advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.
History: Maxie was a gardener early in life, and traveled Hoenn planting Berries and cultivating them. When he began to get a few followers, he started a group known then as the Green Guardians. That team would eventually become the villainous Team Magma.
Description: Graying hair dyed red, a face that radiates disapproval, and the kind of person that can tell almost anyone to do something and have them comply.

Personality: Silver is a bit reclusive. He is constantly planning and tinkering, and doesn't use his real name. He received the nickname Silver after his hair, dyed when he was a teenager to rebel against his adoptive father, Maxie.
History: Silver was found as a child floating in the Hoenn Sea, almost a newborn, after New Years. He was adopted by Maxie with a combination of media pandering and real pity for the boy, and was a good father before Team Magma became a criminal syndicate; Silver, however, was away from Hoenn during the original uprisings, and met A.D. during that time. When he fled home to Hoenn for an unknown reason, he joined Team Magma. Shortly after, the tsunami hit Lilycove, and Silver led a group of volunteers from Magma to help the people affected. There he met Ricky, who joined Team Magma. They formed an unlikely friendship, with extreme rivalry early on before they were put on a black ops team together with Johnnie. The three became extremely close-knit from there on out.

Off-duty, he is often seen with a girl, gambling, gambling with a girl, gambling for a girl, winning and getting the girl, or losing, and getting the girl anyway.
History: Ricky's family lived on the coast in Lilycove City because his father was a successful resort owner of a small retreat that was on the water. However, when he was 17, the tsunami hit and killed his parents while he was away. He got a sizable inheritance because he was an only child, and he has invested it well, so money was not an issue. When he returned to the city and saw its ruins firsthand, he began helping out with the aid workers from both Aqua and Magma before he discovered his parents bodies. He freaked out and went to a bar to drown his sorrows, only to walk into a barfight. He was hospitalized in the ensuing chaos and met Silver there while he was making the rounds, talking to people who had been hurt. Ricky later joined Team Magma.
Description: Ricky has been blessed with handsome facial features, naturally messy blond hair and ice blue eyes. He is slightly above average height and is athletically built. He is a chameleon in that he dresses in whatever he needs to suit the occasion as he is often used as a spy or for infiltrations by Team Magma. He is extremely fit, and stands at 5'9''.

History: Antionette had lived her entire life in Fortree City, but longed to travel the world on a luxurious cruise. Unfortunately, her family never had that kind of money, so when Antionette was sixteen, she ran away from home to start a new life for herself in Lilycove. After the tsunami, she had her first encounters with Team Aqua, and joined mainly for the travel benefits. She rose steadily through the ranks with a combination of her innate skill in battling and having no qualms about the use of her 'feminine aspects' to get what she wants.
She comes from an old French family on her mother's side, and likes to play up that aspect of her heritage, while playing down her father's South Pacific heritage. However, from him, she learned and became proficient at two of the most deadly martial arts in the world: Silat (from Malaysia) and Eskrima (from the Philippines). Due to this, she always carries a kris at her waist, and keeps two Eskrima sticks hidden somewhere.
Description: Antionette is very much the classic beauty, with shapely curves, a petite frame, and a musical voice. She has long, wavy lavender hair, pale skin, and sparkling blue eyes. However, she is a merciless adversary in combat, and is quite adept not only at pokemon battles, but hand-to-hand combat and using weapons as well.
