Immortals
The existence of nature-defying things has been a very real prospect. While not known in it's entirety by the majority of the population, the various incidents that have happened around the world as of late has invoked suspicion; from blood being drained from victims to sudden explosions. The veil which the supernatural lived under seemed to be lifting for some reason or another.
It is for this reason that many of those initiated or related to the otherworldly scene have begun to increase their activities. Various agendas were accelerated due to the sudden change - one of the most notable were the openings of various "supernatural safehouses"; houses, apartment complexes, and various bunkers known for their protection of those delved into the world of the paranormal.
Some beings wish to live a normal life, others embrace their heritage and fight. Whether its for themselves or others is entirely dependent on them. Things are bound to come to a head sooner or later; it's only a matter of when.

This is another RP venture - Immortals.
In this world, set in a time a little farther in the future than now, supernatural beings are slowly losing their secrecy. It's come to the point where various places are now offering themselves as safe-houses. In this case, you as the player will be playing a new tenant in a large inn that has dedicated itself to being a safe-house. Your character can be nearly any manner of supernatural being; for more information on what could be possible for you, look at the "Species Overview".
Rules
- BMGf rules always apply.
- No godmodding of any kind; this includes auto-hitting.
- Do not attempt to overlap a character's abilities.
- If your sign-up is blatantly horrible, you will be rejected. Otherwise, you will simply be asked to edit it.
- The GM's word is law, and the Moderator's law is even higher. If one of these two tell you to do something, please don't make a fuss.
Species Overview (Technically Optional Reading)
All species types in here are hybrid types - there just for organizational reasons. While there typically exists overlaps (in the form of hybrids), you don't have to put the categories if you don't want to.
Human
Except not really. Psions, mancers, witches, summoners, conduits and other types of supernatural-capable humans go here. They have shown to be just as capable as any other species; the word "human" is usually only a way discern them from the rest. If they aren't supernatural-based, their abilities could lie in the use of technology which, when advanced enough, has been known to down any enemy.
Divine
Demigods. Born from the extant forces of nature, who may or many not have taken the appearance of a hot lady, these individuals are gifted with the ability to manipulate a part of nature as their own, inherited from their "parents". While gods don't necessarily exist in the traditional sense, these guys are pretty close to it.
Extraplanar
Celestials and Infernals - as their most general identifications go. Their depictions in text are largely based on a generalization, and not as many are as powerful as the ones shown. Their unique powers are as diverse as their adherence to - or aberration from - their depicted mannerisms.
Creatures
Shifters, phantoms, vampires, werewolves, wendigos - anything that deals with a creature from supernatural lore that doesn't directly pertain to an divine or extraplanar being is typically put into this category.

Universal Supernatural Abilities
All the typical found in most supernatural beings. Each and every one of them is relative based on how proficient the user is.
- Affinity with magic, enhanced physical abilities.
Trivia (Optional Reading - I would, though)
1. Can I play a god character?
Demigod, yes. God, no.
2. Are the traditional gods here?
No, not really. All "gods" are really just personified forces of nature given conscience and shape (concepts with minds). So, instead of "God" and "Asmodeus", their names are more like "Chaos", "Death", "Life", etc. If your character comes from a background that has names for them, feel free to use them.
3. Can I/we have ______?
Chances are very high that it'll be a yes. However, if it's denied, simply accept that it is.

Name: Wren
Sex: Female
Species: Celestial
Age: 22
Appearance
Wren is a woman of 5'8" in height, with ashen white hair that reaches down to her mid back and hazel eyes. Below her eye is a runic marking - a tattoo over her angelic family's insignia.
Personality
When it comes to Celestials, Wren tries her best to fit the trope; heroic, virtuous, merciful. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan. When "off-duty" so to speak, Wren is much more standoffish. While definitely kind, she's calm and quite blunt in her words.
Abilities
Matter manipulation. Using her abilities, Wren is capable of manipulating and changing matter on different scales. While nowhere near subatomic, she is capable of at least using her powers on the macro scale with ease. Beyond this, she has a Celestial's natural ability of flight with their wings of energy.
Skills
Wren is extremely gifted in flight, easily surpassing speeds of over 200 MPH without fear of harming herself. She can manuever easily, fighting with her abilities on the way. On tangential relation, she is skilled at cooking.
Background: (Optional)
Other: Loves ice cream.
