The way they're focusing on Kanto, I can't wait for them to visit Alola

This is Pokémon, where they made Charizard the ace of the gen 8 Champion and the entire set of gen 7 regional forms Kanto Pokémon. There is no such thing as getting Kanto out of its system. There is simply no escape from Kanto.I’m hoping that they’re getting all the Kanto out of their system or something and start focusing on more other regions.
That is actually probably just a part of how Leon is supposed to represent a grown-up player character: his ace is a popular starter Pokémon.they made Charizard the ace of the gen 8 Champion
The anime in particular also used a Charizard as Ash's most important in the Johto league and later the ace of the Kalos league winner (even having it beat the most popular Kalos Pokémon in the finals), and moved the battle frontier from Hoenn to Kanto. This is Pokémon, where they made Charizard the ace of the gen 8 Champion and the entire set of gen 7 regional forms Kanto Pokémon. You thought you escaped Kanto? Kanto is the beginning, Kanto is the end.
Kanto Is.
In the year 2045 they announce that the Sinnoh league was actually originally intended to end differently "in a way many people have suspected" but was changed due to executive mandate. However, a director's cut is announced.I’ll be on my death bed, it’ll be generations and generations of Pokémon down, and yet I will still have to watch Kanto.
I’m hoping ash’s Farfetch’d gets to shine on this battle. Not necessarily. She probably won't come up in this episode, but Gym leader rematches are a thing now. I would pay money to watch Ash obliterate her Kadabra with his Gengar, it's been a long time coming.
It's a little annoying that this episode doesn't take place in Stow-On-Side, but getting to see a Kanto City besides Vermillion is still really exciting. I wonder what the setup will be. Maybe Ash was going to challenge the Dojo Master to a PWC battle, but after he's wiped out by Bea, Ash will challenge her instead. Perhaps Farfetch'd will evolve this episode, I know Ash hasn't really used it yet but it obviously had a ton of battle experience before its capture.
Of course she won’t use her gmax machamp here there’s no dynamax energy.Bea won't use Gigantamax Machamp in this episode and nothing guarantees that Ash will battle her in Galar.
UmSo, how much Kanto does this world tour series need?
Writers: YES! YES! OF FUCKING COURSE YES!
At least we’re getting Grapploct instead of another member of the Machop line under a fighting type specialist. Has there even been one of those in this show?
True, thanks for the correction.Um
Hala hasn’t used a machop line in the anime he has one in ultra sun and moon but he didn’t use them in the anime.
Yes, especially considering this is a series that prides itself on traveling the world. It might not be popular to point this out, but Ash and Goh LIVE in Vermillion city, Kanto!
Should we really count the episodes spent at home as Kanto overload? In terms of episodes where they actually visit a new location in Kanto, we’ve had few- Dragonite Island and now Saffron City here...

Bea isn’t even using Gigantamax here and she appeared. Allister can appear with Gigantamaxing too. Flint appeared when both him and Ash had Infernape. Same is true for Olivia and Lycanroc, Kukui and Incineroar, Acerola and Mimikyu.Sadly, with Ash getting his own Gengar and possibly G-Maxing it, I don't think that Allister is going to show up at all.
Rose is replaced by Giovanni as the main villain, Eternatus relocates to Kanto and now Indigo Plateau is the world's best Power Spot.Luckily they'll need to be in a Power Spot for their Gigantamax battle. Well, unless Eternatus feels like following Ash and Goh to Kanto and starts causing problems there.
They've been doing this for 20 years. It’s likely that they’ll never get Kanto out of their system.I’m hoping that they’re getting all the Kanto out of their system or something and start focusing on more other regions.
Kanto being over-represented isn't a surprise, but we'd also like to see other places.
Seafoam Islands. The Safari Zone. Maybe finally have Cinnabar Volcano erupt?
That’s exactly my point though, we’ve barely been anywhere in Kanto. Most of the Kanto episodes have just been ‘at home’ episodes, so an episode that takes place at the fighting dojo in Saffron City is much better than Bea coming to the lab.
