Sadly yesKnowing this series and how they treat them with Pokemon they'll probably get it once from the gacha machine, do Cramorant things that Cramorant do and afterwards it'll be punched out of existence like all the other Gacha mons and most likely never brought up again.
So the next episode is connected to this oneThe subs confirm that the prize for winning is a trip to Unova and all you can eat Unova food.

I mean Pokémon can still pop right back out of their Pokeballs and Morpeko is very aggressive so even if they tried to catch it that still may not work. And the reason they don't put Morpeko in a Pokeball is?

Also TR aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed
The real winner here is Dragonite who made its own decision to stop when it was full.
The region based in mainland USA? ...well I'm sure that's just a coincidenceThe subs confirm that the prize for winning is a trip to Unova and all you can eat Unova food.
Ash was doing that for years too, let's be fair. Pokéringer, Rapidash race, Balloon race...My main gripe is Gou, who as usual is a natural at everything he tries, and easily outclassed seasoned veterans despite only having learned of this competition 4 hours prior.
Ultimately the inevitability of this series' protagonists always failing in the end will reach up with it's cold, bony hand and grab him by the ankle as he reaches for Mew as it floats out of his reach forever. Will this boy ever be stopped?
At least with Ash we got a sense of the struggle, and in many case we watched him come up with strategies and work to improve. Gou literally never faltered, he just wowed the audience with that smug look on his face with genius idea after genius idea. Ultimately, that's my problem with how Gou's has been handled so far, as viewers, we aren't being shown the presumed behind-the-scenes where Gou works hard and struggles (you know, the things that allow us to connect with him as a character), we just get to see him do amazing things with no preamble. I suppose they figure we already saw Ash do all that, so they they might as well skip over it with Gou, however the end result just makes Gou look like an untouchable god that Ash couldn't hope to measure up against.Ash was doing that for years too, let's be fair.
