Pokémon Evolution/Capture/Release Thread

Cinderace, Inteleon, Rillaboom, Scyther, Flygon, Giant Golurk. Go has plenty of options that will help him reach Super and Hyper class(possibly Master). And if he gets the Birds he is set :)

It's not a matter of his team more like a matter of motivation. Goh doesn't give a damn about battling seriously the way Ash does so why should we expect him to suddenly follow Ash's footsteps? Plus people would just get mad if Goh starts taking part in the same goal Ash is pursuing in this saga.

Yeah. It would just be Gou encroaching on Ash's goal.

Thankfully something like this will never happen. The entire premise sounds weird just like those Ash-betrayed fanfictions.

Sorry, my belief of Go entering the PWC hasn't changed. Unless proven otherwise I think he will eventually enter and reach Super or Hyper Class. He is already taking Hop's place in the Darkest Day

The kid is busy collecting Pokemon and just because he might gain an interest in battling later doesn't mean that he's going to pursue Ash's goal too. Hell even the idea that he might battle more seriously in the future is flimsy 'cause the only real evidence is the new opening even though openings have been misleading before.

He can still catch Pokemon and compete in the PWC at the same time.

I’m guessing we’ll just get an episode with them in it for Brock nostalgia.
Yeah, seems like Brock baiting. Obviously, not Brock because of the multiple Marshtomp but - like with the Piplup/Croagunk episode - they know what they’re doing.

He may battle casually but he won’t encroach on Ash's goal. The entire point of dual protagonists was one focuses on catching and one battles in the PWC. Otherwise the opening animation would say "Gou wants to win the PWC as well as Satoshi" instead of their different and distinct goals.

Goh got an hitmonchan.
Next week's preview clearly shows how the bait and switch with Pikachu will work, nonetheless, Raichu shown was male. (Could easily be an unrelated Pikachu evolving)
