Bulbagarden staff has recently become aware of compelling evidence of a particularly problematic staff culture surrounding the staff of the URPG section of the site. Having reviewed that evidence, we have concluded that it shows a clear pattern of favoritism and sweeping major problems under the rug, including several incidents of sexual harassment, revenge porn and similar some years back.
As a result, the Bulbagarden staff feel that that the necessary trust between us and URPG has been broken. We cannot put our faith in them to manage their section in a way that is compatible with Bulbagarden aims and purposes. For that reason, we are, effective immediately, ending our relation with URPG. URPG forums on Bulbagarden have been closed and archived as staff-only forums, and several URPG staff members, whom we deem to have broken the rules of Bulbagarden instead of enforcing them, have been handed severe bans.
We'd like to apologize for the innocent people affected by this decision. Unfortunately, after review, we concluded that there was no reasonable way of maintaining URPG on Bulbagarden anymore.
