Dare I ask what their dub nicknames were?

Ashpi, Kiapi, and...whatever-his-sister's-dub-name-ispi?

Or did they default to Ashachu?

The name Kiawe came up with for his sister was Mimochu. The names they gave Pikarla were PikaAsh, PikaKiawe and PikaMimo, and the names she gave them were PikAsh, Pikawe and Pikamo. Pikarla kept her name. Pikarla made them insert the word Pika somewhere into every sentence they said, but it didn't have to be at the end as it was in the Japanese version. It's no less annoying that it sounds.

Kurin-chan is named Curly, and loses her Japanese voice despite there being literally no purpose in redubbing it. In fact Ash's Pikachu seems to be the only one that doesn't lose its Japanese voice in the dub.

...of course they did

Disappointing, but not unexpected

And yikes those names... PikAsh sounds like you're coughing every time you say it. Should've gone with Pikawe or something that rolls off the tongue instead of making you trip every time it's said. Pikamo at least sounds alright.

Definitely heard Pikarla and Kiawe, I couldn't pick out either Ash or Mimo's voices in it specifically, but they were probably there as it definitely had more than 2 voices in it.
We need to wait until Theworldofkevinc uploads the video, then we'll know who's reading WTP.

Its interesting that all the Pikachu have a dubbed voice, first time since the original series where Rachel Lillis had to dub over at times

There was also the Pokemon Learning League website where they had Kayzie Rogers do the voice for Ash's Pikachu.
