As yet another possible Power Rangers shout out, I wonder if Lusamine will be referring to each of them by a code name based on the color of their outfits:

Lillie = "Pink Guardian"
Kiawe = "Red Guardian"
Lana = "Blue Guardian"
and so forth

In fact, a recent reveal confirms that UBs are NOT Legendary Pokémon. So there. Even though they're similar to Legendary Pokémon, they are NOT Legendaries themselves. They're weaker than most of them, too. So I don't feel it's impossible for Ash to catch Poipole.
 
New summary.

An Ultra Hole suddenly opens in "Melemele Meadow" and Ultra Beasts appear from within. On Lusamine's orders, Satoshi, Suiren, Lilie and the others finally set off as members of the Ultra Guardians. As they feel the tension of their first mission, their goal is to capture the Ultra Beasts and return them to the world they originally came from.

Summary:
Ultra Beasts have appeared from an Ultra Hole that suddenly opened?! Satoshi and the others receive a mission from Lusamine to capture the Ultra Beasts and send them back to the world they came from, and set off as Ultra Guardians. What Ultra Beasts have appeared? Will Satoshi and the others be able to complete their mission without any complications?! And there's a mysterious shadow creeping up on Pikachu?! What could it be...?!
