Im really excited for Crown Tundra tbh but I just really want it to be better than the current expansion. Apart from adding Miltank is was ridiculously underwhelming.
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, I was just surprised with how short it was really. Like if you already have a living dex with the mons they added, then you've finished that part, and after that all you really have to do is the story stuff which takes such a short amount of time. Shrug.Hm, I really enjoyed IoA as the 'This Is Where We Hid The Real Wild Area' expansion pack. I loved the overworld detail, verticality and windi-ness - even the Sharpedo helped create a sense that this was a semi-hostile wilderness. I already wasn't anticipating much in the way of story, but Mustard's volte-face was a surprising touch.
Not to say that this level of detail should have been in the base game, but...
Haven't seen anyone suggest this yet, but I'd be surprised if no one's reached the same conclusion:
Peony will be Galar's Ground-type specialist. It matches the Ruin Maniac theme, and if he is related to Rose, Ground and Steel could reflect a shared mining background. Garchomp could be his ace.
Claydol / Mamoswine / Excadrill / Golurk / Runerigus / Marowak
Tried to do Ground type + expedition/archaeology theme. Claydol is an ancient clay figurine, Mamoswine was discovered in a glacier from an ice age, Excadrill = excavation, Golurk is another ancient manmade work, Runerigus is based on a real archaeological interest (the Ingvar runestones), and Marowak's bones make me think of dig sites (arguably a Fossil mon would be more appropriate but there are no Ground-type ones)
I would be very happy to see Sandaconda get someReplace the Marowak with a Sandaconda (So he has a G-Max) and you might be pretty close tbh.

Kadabra | Using its psychic power, Kadabra levitates as it sleeps. It uses its springy tail as a pillow. |

Alakazam | It has an incredibly high level of intelligence. Some say that Alakazam remembers everything that ever happens to it, from birth till death. |

Honestly hoping for a 3rd dlc. But With DP remakes being likely next year I had an idea. What if sword and shields 3rd expansion and DP remakes 1st are shared. As in weather you're playing swsh or dp remakes you'll go the same location: The battle resort now complete with the battle frontier (would love it if it combined both emerald and platnuims bf). That way its dp dlc while being a 3rd expansion for those who don't buy the remakes at all.
Does this mean Kadabra is a cocoon, or that the writer thinks that "All Middle Evolution Are Cocoon-Like"?To prepare for evolution, Kadabra stores up psychic energy in the star on its forehead.
Of course not. Has there ever been any dlc before swsh?Has this been done before by any other game?
Edit: if you mean any game period, no idea but pokemon is different than most games. Yeah you wouldn't except call of duty to include a shared dlc with their last game and their newest one but thats because they don't have any reason too. Pokemon needs to care about the new region of the generation just as much as the remake. Once we move onto gen 9 they would of course not do something like this for gen 8.
