Personal Headcanon: About 15 years younger than Ash Ketchum. While Ash is a bit hesitant at first to accept the idea of having such a younger sibling, he soon warms up to the idea, becoming Fran's mentor.

Well, I lied. I gave them kids.

The GOT3 have three adopted kids. One is no gender, one is very gender, and one is sometimes gender. All three end up being the next gen GO Team Leaders and/or researchers.

I've been working out my stupid science technology stuff for same sex couples having biological kids, but all that matters right now is that the technology gains traction by the time Chloe and Regina are married, and so they get a baby. Yeva (Russian form of the name "Eve". Get it, like Eevee?)

Fankidtober Day 1: Natasha, a Shauntal/Marshal(/Grimsley/Caitlin) kid

So this year, rather than drawing random drawings for random kids, I'm just gonna focus on key art for random kids who need it.

Anyway! Natasha is a paranormal investigator and exorcist, though her methods usually involve befriending ghosts (and lowkey being their therapist) rather than fighting them. As a result, she has many ghostly friends, though her only true Pokémon partner is a Rotom named King.

Magneto, son of Wattson and his wife, who totally isn’t human Raikou stop asking. A kid I have to think about more because he’s technically just a little younger than some of the main adults (ie the Main Trio), and he probably has a kid in the fankid era.

He has a strong affinity for Electric types, so he travels the world as a trainer… it’s a great way to avoid business shit.

Yes, I know I have to post my fankidtober arts from the past few days, and yes, I know I'm behind on fankidtober drawing, and YES, I know I'm trying to reconfigure how I do fankid profiles and stuff, but... Johto families.

Ethan/Lyra/Silver - 3 kids, Aoede (Ethan/Lyra), Melete (Silver/Lyra), and Mneme (Silver/Lyra), named after the three Boeotian Muses. They're babey (Aoede is maybe about 6-7 years younger than Robin? idk I'll make the birthday chart one day). Aoede is an aspiring PokéAthlete, Melete an aspiring Breeder, and Mneme... may or may not have ties to Ho-Oh that I'll write about one day.
Will/Karen - Anya. My beloved bitch.
Jasmine/Clair - So their family situation is a biiiit more complex. So for context, I was doing a silly lil "if they had a kid" meme with Wallace ships, and one of them was a Clair/Wallace kid named Deborah. I got a biiiiit too attached to her and the ship (especially given the ship name is FreakShipping and... the symbolic potential) and whoop she's now canon.
Umeko is still there, but there's another kid named Deborah (and the kid Jasmine has with Volkner, but that will come with Sinnoh ramblings). Basically the elders of the Blackthorn Clan are verrrrrry pushy about Clair having a kid, so she adopts one, but that isn't enough for them. So she has a kid with the person who will most piss off her cousin Lance (spoiler: it's Wallace). Clair encourages both of the kids to be rebellious little shits in any way she can.
Falkner/Janine - Still have the twins, who may or may not both become Gym Leaders. I on and off hyperfixate on who is in the League during the fankid era.
Morty/Eusine - Adopt Allister.
Professor Elm/OC - Adoptive daughter named Silvia. The original idea was that she was named after Silver, but due to their ages and stuff, it's gonna be the other way around, and Silver chooses his new name in part be based on Silvia's name. A field researcher (basically trainer/researcher hybrid).
Whitney/Bugsy or Bugsy/Aaron - I scrapped Nita/Whitney because it was really more of a pair the spares. I like Bugsy/Aaron, but I also like Whitney/Bugsy ( @Teebs96 this is your fault /lh). I might just bite the bullet and... make it a throuple??? Who knows. And who knows what that means for kids.
Chuck/his wife - A single kid named Flip. They're a fighter... person... something like a lot of Fighting type trainers (martial artist. that's the word).
Proton/Domino - You know the song "Angry People" by Lemon Demon? Yeah that's these two. And they have a baby out of it, but whoops (spoilers for We Don't Speak His Name) Proton dies, so Domino's gotta take care of the kid. His name is Cyprus, and he does not turn out good.
Ho-Oh/Satsuki - Political marriage but for protection and it's with a deity. Gosh it's so stupid, but anyway, Akane. Probably a Kimono Girl in-training.
Attila/Hun - It's complicated, but then whoops triplets. (In Torchicverse, Hun is trans male.) The triplets are named Ella, Dengi, and Erna, and they're collectively raised by Team Rocket. Little shit catpeople.
Suicune/Virizion - Two gijinka leggies living free in the forest. They have one kid named Asano, who's a forest vigilante or something.

I should probably link the doc to the first post... actually I need to reboot the first post entirely it's a mess and the timeline is a bit fucky wucky and I gotta fix that too ahhhhhh

Spoiler: Side tangent about the timeline

I sort of wanna make the events of XY take place in the year 3000 (basically in Torchicverse years are based around the firing, or more like the not firing of the Ultimate Weapon, rather than the birth of Christ like in the real world, so 3000 is 3000 AZ (After Zentauri, or after the weapon). But also I kiiiiind of wanna make it 2997? Both to refrence the fact that I first played X around 2017 and so then I can have the Kalos kids being a little older?

Also XY is the only "canon plot" to take place in my verse everything else is Rainbow Rocket/generational trauma bullshit adsjhsadjhasdfhjfsjhs

Okay that will be a project for another time, but for now, I shall list Kalos families:

Calem/Serena/Shauna (The details are a bit vague as to whether Shauna is just a close friend co parenting or romantically involved with Calem and Serena, but either way she is in this family) - Zoé and Zach (twins, biologically Calem/Serena's kids). Zoé is a Furfrou groomer, and Zach is an aspiring Pokémon racer.

Tierno/Amelia (a Performer CotD) - A daughter named Suzy. Performances in Torchiceverse are... kind of unhinged? But Suzy manages to avoid all of the drama

Baraz/Lucianne - A daughter named Hadiyya. The next in line with the whole "taking care of Hoopa" thing, but she's also interested in architecture.

Max/Bonnie - Okay so they don't get married and have a kid until they're adults/much older. This ship and family more so came from a "okay where are these two when the main kiddos are travelling around because they're probably adults doing stuff like taxes" and my brain settled on "they are both Professors or Professors in-training". As such, their son, Norman, is just... baby. He exists to be baby.
*Also in Torchicverse, May and Max are Birch's children, not Norman. I went with Brendan as the "canon" protagonist in the sense of being Norman's dad, and given the choice, I figured Max is easier to work with as May's brother over Norman's son. (Also making Brendan an only child would be silly)

Alain/Aria - A daughter, Augustina. She's a Mega Evolution specialist, with her main partner being her Banette.

Paul/Miette - Three kids, a son named Julián, and twin daughters named Millie and Fuencisla. Julián maybe has a jerk rival > actual villain > redemption thing going on, and the twins are part of that redemption/call to redemption (AKA I wanted to give him two baby sisters to motivate him to not be evil)

Nurse Joy/Officer Jenny - edgy girl named Katrine who wants to do something that isn’t nursing or police work.

Siebold/Valerie - a son named Michel. He’s a bit of a loner sculptor, and his parents try to coax him into making friends.

Professor Sycamore/Diantha - triplets, Camilla, an evolution researcher, Claudia, a stage personality and Battle Chatelaine, and Cosette, a ballerina.

Viola/Grant - a son named Louis who does sportswear modeling, a daughter named Violette who’s training to become a journalist, and another son named Joseph who’s doing art.

Malva - single mom of two kids: Satha (from a relationship with Lysandre before he died question mark), and Asmodea (from a fling/relationship? with Grimsely). You know Nebula and Gamora? Yeah their dynamic is sort of like that.

Lysandre/the four Team Flare scientists (aaand I just remembered that Xerosic is technically a Scientist too) - Lysandre’s backup plan were he not to be able to carry on his mission. As a result, the kids (Pyrrha, Eoulan, Ignatius, and Leander) are all indoctrinated in Team Flare’s ways. Eoulan, however, defects as a teen and goes through a bit of a “oh shit I was a part of this horrible group what do I do now” crisis, and with some help from Sycamore and Diantha, he gets back his feet and begins to do good. The other kids though…

Ghetsis/Aliana and Ghetsis/Celosia - Ethereal and Eternal, respectively. Something something Rainbow Rocket, something something Ghetsis needing a replacement male heir and ditching once he found out the kids would be girls. Honestly this plot line makes zero sense, but Ethereal and Eternal have a mean girl thing going on that I really like, so they stay.

Wikstrom/OC - a daughter named Andréa. She miiiiight be around Calem and Serena’s age? She takes on the whole knight tradition of her family (but she’s a girl says wikstrom’s parents to which wikstrom says shut up)

Emmet/Evelyn - twin daughters, Edel and Triana. Battle prodigies who always stick together and stick to the schedule.
*Ingo/Cilan might also live in Kalos? The Striaton siblings feel like they’d be more likely to split up than the Subway Twins, imo.

Dexio/Sina - a daughter named Madalyn. Socialite trainer type. Probably hangs out around the Battle Chateau a lot.

Gijinka!Latios/Morgan - a son named Modesto. The heir to the Battle Maison, he scouts Trainers with unusual battle strategies.

Kiri/Sara Lee - Gabrielle
Kayleigh/Alouette - Elodie
Cameron/Nini - Rachel and Rick
Elma/Kazalie - Audrey
Lumping these ones together because they’re the newest additions and the least developed. Remember how I said Suzy avoids the drama of Performances? Yeah this is the drama right here. These kids and their parents. Think reality TV show about Performers drama.

Gijinka!Xerneas/OC - a daughter named Genevieve. (CW/death) Something something the tragedy of a Legendary of Life falling for a mortal. Something something taking care of a demigod as a Legendary (with the help of the Legendary of Destruction)

Gijinka!Zygarde/Kimia - maybe another political marriage with a Legendary for protection? Maybe not idk. They have a daughter named Joan.

Gijinka!Jirachi/Blossom - Cliantha
Gijinka!Darkrai/Kali - Nerissa
Gijinka!Phione/Linnea - Thalassa
Katherine/mayyyyybe Gijinka!Cresselia? That would be funny - Qwyneth

It's sort of similar to Percy Jackson in the sense that certain Legendaries will take on human forms to wander among the worldly... world. The mortal world. And sometimes they fall in love and have kids. Sometimes they settle down, sometimes they don't.

(Also I follow the Lugia principle of there being multiple of at least some Legendary/Mythical Pokémon. It gets a bit complicated with the space/time/antimatter trio and their trio master.)

Madalyn

• Dexio’s name comes from the Greek word for “left”, and Sina’s from the Latin word for “right”. Madalyn’s name is loosely based on the Sanskrit “मध्य” (mádhya”), meaning “center”.
• She does a lot of travelling as a kid because of her parents' work, but as she grows older, she tends to stay at home in Kalos.
• She can come off as a bit... aloof and even snooty sometimes, especially when battle comes into play.
• She specializes in Fighting types (strong against her mother's Ice types, weak to her father's Psychic types). But she prefers "elegant" Fighting types (Mienshao, Lucario, and Gallade).

Zoé

• something something there's a bit of soap opera drama with Serena's pregnancy because she got pregnant before marriage and when she was 19 or so something something it caused a bit of a rift between her and Grace
• Shauna was originally planning to be a Furfrou groomer, but it... really wasn't her passion. After hopping between ideas of what she wanted to do with her life, she eventually settled on being a schoolteacher! But Zoé took on the Furfrou grooming thing, and this time around, it stuck! Shauna still helps her out whenever she needs it.
• I keep talking about everyone but Zoé she's a bit of a fashionista, mixing cuteness with practicality.
• She picks up a bit of gossip in her line of work/apprenticing, and she becomes a bit of a drama lover.

Zach

• He wants to be a racer for reasons unrelated to Grace (she's basically out of his life). He just... really likes riding birbs.
• Serena, however, is not the most approving of Zach's passion because of the above. As a result, Zach is closer to his dad. Calem and Serena sometimes argue about their parents and how to handle them and how Serena is a biiiiit too antsy about the Zach being a racer thing, so Shauna typically has to mediate. (Other than that, though, they're a pretty stable couple.)
• He likes the snow a lot! Even if it gets in the way of sky racing sometimes, it's very pretty and soft : )
• By extension, he prefers cozy clothes, though he prefers practicality over looks.

Side note, but... looking through NPCs in the games, and realizing that I could maaaaaybe (as in definitely will) make Cliantha the memory girl that reads the memories of your Pokémon. (And Phil the Photo Guy is Viola's dad why not)

Invoking the anime now, are we? Fun! Hidden depths!Amelia for the Tierno pairing, I presume? She never did struck me as the romantic type, let alone with someone relatively sane and not-so-snobby; perhaps their dedication to craft might‘ve been part of the spark there. But she did strike me — beyond said obvious snobbishness — as perhaps a just a sprinkle crazy in regards to Performing just by the mere fact of her being there and getting that far…like a lot of the Performers probably are, I’d suspect. Pageantry never is a life goal for mere mortals, after all.

Some of those are pretty funny given that I can’t help but think of their mirror counterparts in my own ‘verse; crack pairings galore from that context! Would probably watch the inevitable reality show featuring them, though. (And never admit that I kind of like seeing the proverbial trainwreck ensue deep down, even as I simultaneously weep for the future of humanity, haha.)
