Going back to what was said a few pages back about who Ian Garvey was: He was the first champion of the world championships for the GameBoy games. I mean, this was when Red and Blue were the only games out. He won the tournament with a Chansey, becoming the first one to use Chansey to win. He goes onto other sites with the name "EeveeTrainer".

As for the DOS attack link on his wiki article... Completely false. It was just someone trying to pin this on him for no reason. He is in the clear.

There is still no real secure suspect as to who did the hackings. So now the members are pinning the blame on other members with no real reasons. It's getting to the point where you just have to laugh at the immaturity.

They exist, to hack the entire internet, one big site at a time.
I...tried to stop them once, but was soundly defeated. They..did unspeakable things to me...horrible things...I can't describe.

They aim to possess the "5" special Internet codes, hidden by the US Goverment on 5 sites....Serebii was one of them, that's why Serebii is so knowledgable.

Someone has played too much Megaman Battle Network, I think xD.

Ian Garvey was the 2000 US champion, then became fourth in the world championship... first was a briton, then an australian and then a spaniard.

Anyway, what are the concrete clues that point to him doing all this? Nobody should repeat a name over the forums without giving concrete clues against him, some people could even start a witch hunt against him before even knowing if he has anything to do. I know he's done bad things in the past, but, look, he's not the only guy who could have the skill and the motivation to do this.

After harsh experiences there and evaluations of how members treated each other and how mods threated members, I frankly have to say it's about time this happened.

Like Hanako said, you just have to sit back and watch everyone fight amongst themselves because someone's out to get the site. Perhaps that was the very objective, perhaps it wasn't just the thrill of going in and posting porn or switching forum columns around.

Well I just chose not to post there...

Just a warning: The redirect has changed and I think it's back to linking to porn.

Right its fixed now I hope

My Registrars account server just died but I changed the nameservers before it did

Nope, now it's trying (and failing >> dumb hacker) at linking to hentai. =\

Hmm, maybe it's just me. Oo;

You should have seen the blatent attacks and blame fingers being pointed at the rival sites of Serebii. Members found it suspicious that Smogon had downtime during the height of the hacking. Then blame was placed on UPN, due to the fact that the main page of Serebii linked there.

As Crystal Walrein said, all one can do is sit back and watch the mass chaos. Since there are no secure clues as to who would be trying to "get back" at Serebii, you can not go around and place blame on anyone. Nor can you call the "Internet police".

The forums take a long time to download for me. Must be either problems with technology, or young members trying to get their post counts back up. Now that is what I find hilarious. Going further on that topic would only be distracting us from the main one.

Edit: This one came up while I was writing:

He's the main suspect of who hacked Serebii.
If you look farther back into the thread, you would have seen that no one agrees with it being Ian. For one thing, there is the lack of evidence against him.

Well, chaps, it seems they got the domain back.

Joe (not you, Serebii), go clean your browser cache.

The hacker is watching me, so don't reply to this....

It was.....me and my friends.....

I...didn't want it to go this far...but, you can help stop my friends...from...taking the internet...apart....

Okay, I'm not sure if I beleive you, but, What could I do if your friends really did hack the site?

Their is a group of Elite Hackers, calling themselves the Deus Ex.

My sources say Youtube is the next, and they are beginning their conquest, thus they linked Serebii to other sites as the keys react to each other, thus they are leaving it on Youtube as it is reacting. If they find all 5 keys and link them...they own the internet almost.

You can stop them though....I can't, this is my last message to fill you guys with hope...remember...

Hmm. Youtube was ofline for a while...

Me said:
Would you be willing to stop them? Even if it meant risking your internet connection-for good?

I guess you aren't the one for the job.....

SPP user said:
Well, I mean they got the site back...and it can't be hacked anymore...soooo what's the use?

Me said:
It has only just begun, the war for the internet rages on.

Well, I'll do my part when I feel I need to.

Well, this guy was blaming others AND then he said that he was hacked and the hacker made him do it...

So, yeah, it's not like I was picking on a innocent person.

Oh, I didn't mean anything by that post if offense was somehow read out of it - I thought your messages with that guy were quite funny!

I heard that yesterday it was linking to a Nidoking and a Zangoose doing "it". However, it seems normal now.
