Uses of Pokemon and its characters in other media?

I wanted to know if it was okay to edit a character's wiki page so I can refer to instances in which Pokemon has shown up. One of the things I wanted to add was how they've appeared pretty often in the "AMV Hell" series (especially in the fourth one) If I did, would it stay - hello, trivia section - or would it be erased?

AMV Hell probably wouldn't count, since it's fan-made. But citations of characters in other series probably would.

But that's just my two cents.
