Unrealistic to the point of impossible?

Why are dark types strong to ghosts? aren't they considered to be beings of darkness in some cultures? well?

I like how you draw the line of suspended disbelief at ghosts being weak to dark and not at ghosts existing.

no they dont.

Anyway, the most unrealistic thing is my growlithe breeding just a couple of minutes after it was hatched.

Do I have to argue with this? Let's just say it went through puberty early shall we?

and still no one answered me aren't some ghost susposed to be dark and evil? then why are they weak to dark? are they really good spirits trying to avoid darkness?

nope, its still weird, imagining a baby breeding.its just too wierd.
And ghost is weak to dark to keep them balanced.
Not only would dark types would be useless(having only one type advantage), but ghost would also have only one weakness and would be almost unbeatable.

okay let's take this into consider this, if dark was put to balance the books then why might I ask is NORMAL type for? seriously. ghost was the best in gen I for that reason it's why they add dark

Ghosts pack other attacks as well.Gengar has tbolt for example.
And yes, they resist normal attacks.and since a large no. of them have will o wisp, using other non stab attacks wont help either.
And lets not forget pursuit trapping is easily the best way to kill those ghosts.

Also, shouldn't the proffesers be charged with child labour?
And I guess the Ferrothorn appendage theory is plausible.

None of the player characters have any dads. At least none that you can see.

And also the infamous Remoraid into Octillery

And also the infamous Remoraid into Octillery

That's actually because Remoraid is partly based on a gun, and Octillery on a canno. Although not as practical, a cannon can do much more damage than a gun, explaining the evolution.

Guess they don't have that in the Pokemon world.

In fact, somethings in our world might not apply to the Pokemon world since it's different. There are basic laws for society and a clear understanding of what's good and bad in the Pokemon world but certain other things there might not be considered bad. Like children traveling (unless they've been prepared for the world by their parents) or catching monsters (as it's seen as a form of bonding with them and sharing a symbiotic relationship with them).

yes how do you know that the creators don't believe in ghosts?

yes yes NORMAL was sent to balance books okay. then why..... oh you know what stuff this let's just say the makers wanted to balance the books but forgot about normal shall we? good? yes? okay!

So your saying making bonds with wild pokémon is child labour? defeating every gym? the E4? just what part of the game is child labour (other than pokémon that just hatched from their eggs)?

I guess, but still... shouldn't the proffesers do it themselves? The poor kiddies might get eaten by a Khangaskhan, or have their souls sucked out by a Jellicent. And the kids wouldn't even be armed, save a Dewott or a Quilava.

The way they will not let you go with your pokemon without shouting 'COMPLETE DAH POKEDEX' without scaring the hats they always seem to wear off. I think they tell you about Gyms and E4 to make it sound fun.

Sneaky Proffesers.

The master ball can fail. I just don't get it. How the hell can the best all out there just suddenly fail? Is it like a 99.9999999999999..... thing? And why is it that it happens on a specifically bitch legendary.

And that's where Pokemon come in. The kids use them to defend themselves. Who needs a gun when you have creatures that can shoot fire or water or harness the power of nature itself?

Plus, Oak said that he was too old to do it himself, especially since he's a researcher with lots of other work to do.

And who know, maybe the trainer wants to go out and see the world. I know I would if I lived in the Pokemon world.

???? What? No it can't. It can only fail on the Marowak Ghost in RBGY/FRLG. It doesn't fail anywhere else. The Master Ball catches any Pokémon with a catch rate of 3 or higher. All Pokémon have a catch rate of 3 or higher. Even if it was 1 or 2, the Ball would still act like a Heavy Ball on a Groudon. The Master Ball doesn't fail.

It has been documented to fail occasionally. It is an extremely rare occurrence, but it does happen.
